So, lots of discussion has been happening at the global mod level and we've decided to have a major overhaul of the current staff members at Vizzed. All current local mods will be demoted to Vizzed Elite status and an open application to ALL members of Vizzed will begin. All former staff members will have the chance to apply again and can be picked if we choose them again but this overhaul will create space for new staff members as well.

I'm expecting between 10-12 locals so if we bring everyone back that would be 2-4 new people at the very least. Could be more if we only keep 4 or 6 people though.

So, what do I want from the applicants. This isn't going to be as easy as the previous applications.

First off the requirements:
Age: 14+
Posts per month: 75+
Visits per week: 3+

That's the easy part. If you can't meet those requirements you won't stand a chance. That's just the basic requirement though. We're looking for people who have ideas on how to improve Vizzed. People who have the drive to put in extra effort to make sure their forums are well maintained.

I want you to answer the following questions:

Have you ever been a moderator/staff member on any other forums?

What qualities do you have that would make you a good moderator?

List the top 5 forums that you would like to moderate and why.

Tell us anything else that you feel is important or worthwhile that could make you a good moderator at Vizzed. (this question is open-ended so say as much or as little as you think is beneficial)

yeah.... the locals will all get demoted tomorrow after the events of sakura day have come and gone.

They will still have basic forum responsibilities but no staff room access.

I would apply to something like this, but I'm unsure of how busy I will actually be by the time summer ends and school will begin again. And I don't want to stress myself out more then I'd need to since I'll need ever minute I can get...

I hold the same concerns as Vincent. So I would like to ask how long will the applications remain open?

Heh, this will be the first time in almost 2 years that I'm a normal member. It'll feel weird. How long after the application will you be announcing the staff?

Ok so I am the forum every day pretty much all day and I get around 25 posts a day. 7 days a week I think I am set there.

I would want to mod one or all depending on your choice thsese 3:
Cafe Corner. Why? I am there quite often and I think that I am fairly unbiased so I could do better at settling problems that always arise.

News. Why? I watch the news a lot and I am quite entertained by the stories. I love reading up and I would always check legitimacy.

Web Splurge. Why? I am like I said online all day and I would hope to bring some action back into that forum.

Fitness: Why? I am a new born health nut.

Retro Game Reviews. Why? I would check if they were copied pasted.

I have never been a mod...

The good qualities I have is I know what needs to stay and go.

This is generally something to avoid. The last thing you want is for the staff apps to become a competition.

I applied. I gave it my all and would love to be a moderator. I know there are many locals which will be given their jobs back, so that doesn't leave many open spots for new appliers like me. I hope I get it.

legacyme3 : Eh, I only said that because in general, people take a guess at who would make it as a moderator, and all that. I didn't mean literal bets, and literal competition, and all that, just simple guesses and discussion in general.

In all seriousness though, the whole guessing thing can be fun for younger people, so I don't stamp it out in chat, it is kinda nice to wonder

Wow this is certainly a pleasant surprise, though I personally expect to see certain mods to retain their positions. for ex: bigs, Legacyme, Juliet, and a few others. I will conisider applying this time actually
