My Patreon page has only been up for a few weeks and it's already earning $419 a month which is fantastic so I'd like to give a huge thanks to everyone who has pledged so far However, we're still only 1/3 of the way to the $1500 a month goal which would be enough for me to quit my full time job and go back to working on the site full time again.

The Patreon page for Vizzed can be found here:
https://www.patreon.com/DavidAuchampach

Since making the Patreon page, I've added lots of new rewards which you can read about here:

You can find a list of Patreon Goals and how they'll benefit the site here:

I've created a Patreon page for Vizzed which you can find here:
https://www.patreon.com/DavidAuchampach

Working on the site is something I do full time and previously the ad revenue covered both my employment and the site expenses and server fees, however, the ad revenue has taken some drops over the past few years (traffic drops, ad blocks, mobile devices, etc) so I'm no longer able to invest 40-60 hours into the site a week like I love doing.

Here are the tiers which you can also find on the above page (I plan to add more soon):

$2 a Month
-Access to a Patron Exclusive forum
-All RGR Games Cost 0 Viz
-All Ads Removed

$5 a Month
-Access to All RGR Games (including PS1 games and beta ticket exclusive games)
-Added to my Vizzed friends list, Skype, Xbox Live and/or Steam (permanently)
-Earn 1.25x more Viz for everything you do *
-All Previous Rewards

$10 a Month
-Access to Almost All Site Features (all the features that require special items)
-All of your Private Messages are prioritized (I'll make sure to get to them within 24-48 hours)
-Earn 1.5x more Viz for everything you do *
-All Previous Rewards

$25 a Month
-You get to have some input on what features I invest my time into
-Promoted to Vizzed Elite if you're not already (you get to permanently keep it if you do this tier for at least 1 year)
-Earn 1.75x more Viz for everything you do *
-All Previous Rewards

$50 a Month
-1 undivided hour of my time a month (spent in any way that you want)
-Ability to change your username color whenever you want as often as you want (your final color is permanent if you do this tier for at least 1 year)
-Earn 2x more Viz for everything you do *
-All Previous Rewards

$100 a Month
-I'll invest 8 hours a month toward any feature that you request (either a new feature or a current feature)
-Ability to change your username border color whenever you want as often as you want (your final color is permanent if you do this tier for at least 1 year)
-Ability to change your username whenever you want as often as you want for 0 Viz (no more than once per a day)
-All Previous Rewards

*The multipliers from these rewards would be added to the current multipliers that users already have based on their CP total. So if a user already has a 1.5 multiplier on Vizzed, the $10 a Month tier would turn that into a 2x multiplier.

All rewards would only be active while the user is an active patron (unless stated otherwise).

If anyone has any questions or feedback, be sure to let me know in this thread:

I've created a new Donation page (which you can read about here) which offers a few new ways to donate. You can find the Donation page here:
https://www.vizzed.com/donate.php

It costs a lot to keep this site running with all of the games that it has so it's always greatly appreciated with users help out. The ads only pay so much and that's mainly because I don't want to flood the pages with ads, don't want use popups and I also want to avoid adding annoying, unsafe or adult ads. All donations are rewarded a lot of Viz and CP and also offer other benefits (with more benefits coming soon for all current and future donators).

Donation Options
Donate with Stripe
Stripe lets you securely donate any amount to the site using Credit Card, Bitcoin and Alipay.

Other Ways to Donating
You can do a manual donation using just about any method and still get full credit for it.

Donate Games
If you have any physical games you no longer use, get full credit from donating them.

Donate with PayPal
This isn't a new form of payment but I figured I'd remind everyone that this is an option.

Sign up now to our annual Tecmo Super Bowl tournament. The Tecmo Super Bowl tournaments last the longest of all the tournaments I hold each year since it lasts as long as the NFL season. Just like last year, this year the tournament will begin right around the time Preseason begins which will be Thursday, August 11th.

Previous Winners:
2015 Winner: MattyIce
2014 Winner: MattyIce
2013 Winner: boomer1709
2012 Winner: thubtengendun0

This tournament will last for 24 weeks. The first 4 games will determine who advances into the regular games (I use this to weed out those who don't participate) and it'll also help determine who plays who during the regular games. The next 16 games are regular games and will be used to determine who goes to the elimination rounds. The last 4 games are the elimination rounds and the last round of course is the final matchup which is our Super Bowl.

Since 'Tecmo Super Bowl 2017' wont be released when this tournament begins, we'll be using 'Tecmo Super Bowl 2016' for the first 4 weeks and then we'll be using 'Tecmo Super Bowl 2017' once the regular season begins.

Requirements:
-You must live in the United States (unless you have had very little lag problems playing netplay with USA users)
-The RGR Plugin must work fine on your computer, especially for Nintendo NES games
-If you're on the ban list, you cannot enter. To see who is on the ban list, go here:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=60334

Prizes:
1st = 300,000 Viz or 30 Raffle Tickets
2nd = 200,000 Viz or 20 Raffle Tickets
3rd = 100,000 Viz or 10 Raffle Tickets

Team Entry Fee: FREE
(entry fee is 0 Viz this year)

Signup ends and tournament begins on Thursday, August 11th.

If you want to enter, simply respond to this thread:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=95920

On Wednesday, 7/27/2016, from 3 - 10 PM (central time zone) we'll all be listening to and rating the songs submitted to the Super Nintendo Music Competition. Shortly before each song finishes, I'll give users a link to where they can rate each song and the song submitters get points for any rating above a 3 (out of 5).

I will be hosting this event on my Twitch channel and I'll be giving away a total of $500 worth of Steam Games in the form of Vizzed Raffle Tickets which can be used to redeem Steam games and other digital games including eShop, Uplay and more.

The more songs you rate, the higher your chances are of winning a raffle after the stream is over. Each rating you make during the stream is basically another entry in the raffle. There will be nearly 1000 digital games that winners will be able to pick from. You can see a full list of redeemable games here:
https://www.vizzed.com/market/listings.php?type=Raffle

If you can only show up for a little while that's fine. It's a very long stream (probably not as long as last month though) so I don't expect anyone to stick around the entire time. The longer you stick around and vote, the greater your chances will be of winning some Raffle Tickets.

My twitch channel can be found here:

(be sure to "Follow" my channel)

Vizzed is back up and should be back to normal. If you notice anything wrong with the site after coming back up, please let me know ASAP in this thread:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=95637

So I woke up to the same problem you are all seeing right now and I don't know why it is happening. I'm trying to contact David (if anyone has his contact info saved somewhere feel free to try and contact him yourself) but to no avail so far. Hopefully he is able to come back sooner than later to get this sorted out.

It appears as though games are still playable so please feel free to visit the RGR while you wait

Also, if anyone else is getting pop-up ads I apologize for that. Not sure why that started happening but it is quite annoying and wouldn't blame anyone for blocking the ads until everything gets sorted out again.

There's more ways to earn and spend Viz now than ever before. I'll quickly go over the things that you can spend your Viz on and also ways that you can earn Viz.

Spend Viz

PlayStation Item = 50,000 Viz
This gives you access to play nearly 2,500 PlayStation games. We have just about every PS1 game ever made on the site and also a lot of rare unreleased stuff as well. The games play great and the majority of the games work!

Buy Digital Games in the Vizzed Market
The market has nearly 4000 codes for 800+ games and games are being added daily. You can buy Steam games, Wii-U games, 3DS games and more! The Market also has non-game codes for sale as well.

Download Video Game Music = 25,000 Viz
The Video Game Music Room is an awesome feature that has been around for 7+ months that allows you to listen to nearly 100,000 songs from video games. Now you can finally get access to downloading these songs with the Song Downloader item.

Unlock Features with Key Items
The Vizzed Market has a Key Item section that allows you to buy items that unlock features on the site. There are currently lots of items available and I've got plans to add plenty of new items in the near future.

Earn Viz

Help out Vizzed = Earn 25,000+ Viz!
This thread has tons of different ways that I'm offering users to earn Viz simply by helping out Vizzed.

Rate My Google Android App = 40,000 Viz
Simply request a free code for this app that I've created and download it, review it and rate it. That's it.

Vizzed Market Forum
This forum has tons of threads created by various users and myself allowing anyone to earn lots of Viz.

Donating
Of course the quickest way to earn Viz is by donating to the site. The site has been struggling financially for a while now and I've been having troubles keeping up with paying the RGR Plugin developer. You can earn 10,000 Viz for each US $10 that you donate so if you have anything to spare, please consider it.

Submitting Site Content
You can earn both Viz and CP when you submit various forms of content to the site.

For more ways to quickly earn Viz or if you have any questions or suggestions, please go here:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=95617

I completely recreated the profile pages from the ground up and made them so much better by adding so many more features and options, made them more user friendly, made them mobile friendly, faster to load, more secure and so much more (more details below). I also made it so that all of the 'Edit Profile' stuff can be done right on your profile page. You can see my profile in action here:
https://www.vizzed.com/user/Davideo7-1-profile

You can see your own profile by either clicking your username at the top of almost every page of the site or by going to this page:
https://www.vizzed.com/user/

For full details or for any questions and feedback, go here:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=95487

I've created a comment box which lies near the footer of almost every page. The only pages that it doesn't exist on includes game pages (since they have their own comment box already) and any page that hasn't been migrated to the new site code. For most pages the box is unique to the page which means comments made in the box would only appear on that specific page.

Features include:
-Ability to submit comments without having to reload the entire page
-Clicking 'Popout Comments' lets you view more results and with a bigger view
-Being the admin of a page grants you the ability to delete comments (and profile owners too)
-On profiles, you can click the 'View Archived Comments' link to view old past comments
-The comment box can be disabled on any page from the 'Content Disabling' section of 'Edit Page'
-A reload button reloads the comments to see if any new comments have been made (they don't load automatically to reduce strain)
-Most forum tags are supported
-It's incredibly fast
-It should be completely mobile friendly

The pages that benefit the most from this include:
-User Profiles
-Song Pages
-Forum Pages
-Song Playlists
