There's still a plenty of time left to compete in this month's competition!

Music Competition: Nintendo 3DS

Earn up to 100K Viz or $100 in Steam Games in the above competition!

The Theme Creator lets you create your very own theme. Once you've created the theme, you can apply the theme to either a page that you have admin powers over, or you can apply it to yourself which then gives many pages of the site that custom look. Not only can you create your own theme, but you can also choose from any of the user created themes.

This has been one of the more anticipated features that I promised users years ago. Even though it still has a long way to go, I'm excited to finally launch it . Keep in mind that it'll only affect pages of the site that have been migrated to the new site engine but I plan to get more pages migrated in the near future, especially ones that are commonly used such as the New Reply page, Private Messages, Announcements and Login/Register. Also keep in mind that you can collaborate on a theme with someone by making them an "Admin" of your theme's page which gives them access to making changes to the theme (to make someone an admin of a page that you're an admin of, click the 'Edit Page' link at the top left of the page).

The feature can be found here:
https://www.vizzed.com/u/theme.php

Notable Features
-Create your own customized theme with instant previewing
-Browse user created themes to use as your own theme
-Make your theme available to the public or make it private
-See how many pages and users are using a specific theme

Future Features
-Allow users to buy and sell themes with Viz
-More customization over the look of the site
-Ability to copy "qualified" themes and alter them from there
-Rating system
-Search Features
-Make the theme creator easier to use and more user friendly

Set a Theme as Your Default Theme
To set a theme as your default site theme, click the 'Settings' link at the top left of the page and then scroll down to the 'Theme' section and from there, insert the ID of the theme you want to use.

Set a Theme for a Page
To add a theme to a page, simply click the 'Edit Page' link at the top left of a page that you have admin powers over and there should be a theme section where you can insert the ID of the theme you want to use.

I haven't done this in a while and I had originally planned on doing this every month.

I wanted to give a shout out and thanks to my supporters on Patreon. Their financial support has really helped out a lot. I'm hoping these shout outs give them more recognition among the Vizzed community. If anyone else is interested in supporting this site (there are tons of benefits for doing so), you can help out for as little as US $2 a month here:

On Wednesday, 10/24/2018, from 4-7 PM (central time zone) we'll all be listening to and rating the songs from the Sony PSP Music Competition. Shortly before each song finishes, I'll give users a link to where they can rate each song and the song submitters get points for any rating above a 3 (out of 5).

I will be hosting this event on my Twitch channel and I'll be giving away a total of $250 worth of Steam Games in the form of Vizzed Raffle Tickets which can be used to redeem Steam games and other digital games including eShop, Uplay and more. The Raffle Tickets can also be traded into the Vizzed Market for 10,000 Viz each.

The more songs you rate, the higher your chances are of winning a raffle after the stream is over. Each rating you make during the stream is basically another entry in the raffle. There will be over 1000 digital games that winners will be able to pick from. You can see a full list of redeemable games here:

In many browsers, the donation page didn't work because the donation methods on the donation page required that it be on a secure site with an SSL certificate using HTTPS but I didn't have one set up at the time so that page has been down for quite a while. It's completely functional now though and can be access here:

Most of the games in the Retro Game Room that have had problems either recently or in the past year have been fixed. This mostly applies to any game that uses the RGR Plugin.

Here's a brief list of what was fixed:
-GBA and N64 (hadn't worked in about a week or more)
-Arcade and MESS systems (same issue as GBA & N64)
-Dreamcast (hasn't worked properly in almost 9 months)
-Saving, Loading and Screenshot taking (had been down 1+ weeks)
-Arcade Clones (the list of available clones for a game hasn't been available in almost 9 months)
-Game Page URLs (not sure for how long but some links to game pages from various sections of the site didn't work properly)
-Google Chrome (a recent Chrome update made it harder to get working, should be better now since it gives you something to click for enabling Flash on Vizzed)
-Lots of other little things

If there are other RGR related problems, let me know right away in the below thread and I'll try and get it fixed as soon as I can (assuming it's not a time consuming fix):
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=100936

I purchased and setup an SSL Certificate for Vizzed.com and now the entire site automatically transfers you to it. This makes the site more secure but it also greatly improves the site's reputation online and therefore increases the search engine rank since search engines like Google reward a site's ranking if the site is using https.

I had to go through a lot of pages to make sure everything is pointing to the new URL since a lot of pages stopped working because of it. If a page has content (such as images) that aren't using https on a page that is using https, most browsers throw a security warning and some don't even let you view the page. If anyone notices a page on the site that is no longer working, let me know right away in the following thread:

Defeat Davideo7 and Foxyman1113 & Win US $500 Worth of Digital or Steam Games! Event starts at around 6:00 PM central time on Tuesday, 7/3/2018
As soon as the Bomberman Netplay Tournament ends, there will be a special Bomberman event that'll take place right afterward (just like the last 2 years). You'll form a team with anyone and take us on in a 2 vs 2 match and if you can beat us, you and your teammate get to share the $500 worth of Digital or Steam games! (or 500,000 Viz if you want that instead). Basically you'll be given 50 Raffle Tickets which you can use to redeem here (also click that to see the list of games that you can get which includes more than just Steam games).

If you're interested in challenging us, read the full details and respond to this thread here:
https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=100677

This event will be live streamed on my Twitch Channel here:

2018 Spring Bomberman Tournament = Final Matchup at 5:00 PM Central Time on Tuesday, 7/3/2018
The final matchup of the Bomberman '94 Tournament ends on July 3rd with the final matchup taking place at 5:00 PM central time. The tournament started at the beginning of April and began with 16 of some of the best Bomberman players. It is now down to 5 players; here are those players and their overall rank (which will determine their player order):
P1. Davideo7
P2. Foxyman1113
P3. Vanelan
P4. nakina
P5. DavidMcC1989

Here's how the final matchup will work. At the end of each round, the user (or users if there is a tie for last) with the lowest trophy count will be eliminated. We keep doing this until only 1 user stands, which will be our winner. If you miss the stream, I'll be uploading the video to my personal YouTube account here:
https://www.youtube.com/user/davideo7/videos

The matchup will be live streamed on my Twitch Channel here:
http://www.twitch.tv/davideo7
(be sure to 'Follow' my channel so you don't forget)

The final matchup will last anywhere between 45 minutes and 75 minutes. Here are the results and uploaded streams of all the previous years:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gg_FQvpPiU8
2017: 1st. Davideo7, 2nd. Linkums, 3rd. Foxyman1113, 4th. gamerforlifeforever, 5th. Barathemos

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qSMe6sghQXA
2016: 1st. Davideo7, 2nd. Foxyman1113, 3rd. AceShock, 4th. Linkums, 5th. mvhupsel

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U5zZOQmapM8
2015: 1st. Davideo7, 2nd. Foxyman1113, 3rd. Linkums, 4th. deg2000, 5th. lilwildwolf21

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlhE2Lhzr-w
2014: 1st. Davideo7, 2nd. madison, 3rd. AceShock, 4th. Koda, 5th. Forest Dragon

I'm still the reigning champion at this tournament but I really do think that Foxyman1113 could finally take me down this year. He beat me in our 1 vs 1 matchup a few weeks ago.
