Oohh jeez... It comes down to Metroid Prime and Super Metroid. Both were first huge steps in their own process - if it wasn't for Super Metroid we wouldn't have Metroid Fusion and Zero Mission. Without Prime, well, we wouldn't have the Prime trilogy (and Metroid Prime Pinball and Hunters if you wanna count them in as well).

A lot of people would say Super Metroid is the best Metroid game, and I would have to agree. On the other hand, the Prime Trilogy (especially 1 & 3) did a fantastic job of captivating me in the FPS genre back in the day. Metriod Prime would have to be one of the best games ever, while Super Metroid is the best Metroid game. I've beaten Super Metroid over 5 times (only because of issues when the cartaridge wouldn't start up right and was prone to clearing game data as a result). I've beaten Prime only twice. But enough talk.

Wow! Real hard to say. My favorite has to go to Prime 3 because with the first two games, the only way you could use Phazon (my favorite weapon by the way) is through very specific circumstances. In the first two, you could only use it when fighting Metroid Prime and Dark Samus but with 3, you could use it at will.

I wish I could select two because my other favorite goes to Other M. It is the first game I played where any nintendo character actually had complete dialogue instead of a bunch of grunts and yells and maybe 1 or 2 words at a time.

I voted for MP2. I really enjoyed MP but MP2 just beat it out because of the Screw Attack & Dark Samus. Metroid Prime was pretty cool but definitely became cooler when it absorbed the Phazon Suit & became Dark Samus. I also thought MP2 was a little better overall.

I havent played all the metroid prime game series but i gotta say metroid prime 3 gotta be the best it was the final chapter of a fantastic game and i think it deserves the privilage of being the best in the metroid prime series also it was the only game that actully ended the metroid prime series with a proper ending
