Next to all posts, to the left of the 'Reply to Post' link, there's a 'Report Abuse' link. Clicking it takes you to a PM form which allows you to directly contact staff to report any spamming or flaming and the PM automatically fills out a bunch of info (but it is encouraged to provide us with more).

This should definitely encourage users to report things when they see it since not all users think to report stuff or don't know where to report stuff. Usually the staff is on top of things but we're bound to miss some things and this can speed up the process of taking care of certain threads and posts.

Thats a great feature I've actually heard in the chat rooms how some people don't know where to report stuff, and even I have troubles most of the time for choosing who to tell or with misspellings for names

Why is it red ? It blends in with the background making it hard to see for newbies, it should be yellow (maybe underlined as well).

Actually it does not, but I would like it yellow and underlined.

I don't really care about this feature because most posters would post to summon the mod, which for their selfish reasons is to boost their post count.

I have a suggestion to improve this on the mod side.... can you make the link be post specific instead of thread specific. People are reporting a specific post most of the time so it would be nice to be taken directly to the post that is being reported rather than simply to the thread.

The post url has the '&' character which can't be passed through the header without losing the info. The 'Report Abuse' link is actually passing the info for the PM title and description in the URL.

You actually probably could just modify the url like so, remove the & and fuse it into one string then when you call for it on next page just split it and code it into the proper format.

Basically I replace the & with -AND- to be used for the URL and after the URL has been retrieved, I replace the -AND- with &.
