i like pokemon games that are R/S/E and below. i thought after gen. 3 that it got ridiculous, i only like buizel and munchlax from the 4th generation, and only 1 from black and white so far, but i still play the new games now and then, and definitely play the remakes.

I have always been a big fan of the older Pokemon games, and still like to pull out my gameboy to play all the Originals. Even though I like the older gen. more, I have nothing against the newer generations. I just think of it as something new that Nintendo's trying, and if I ever find a pokemon game that I don't like, then I'll just play some Pokemon Yellow.

I like both, but prefer the new ones. The old ones are great, and well crafted, but something just isn't fresh about them aside from Emerald. I, honestly, liked the third generation games best. They had an in-game story section that just made me want to play it. And replay it. And replay it. No matter how many times I replay it, I find something new, or find the games all the more enjoyable. Of course, this is only the case with Emerald.

I like to battle people, and since wi-fi is my only way to battle someone who can give me a challenge, I can't help but prefer the DS games when it comes to the post-story content. Platinum had the best post-story content in the Pokemon series by far.
