Nice work on the radio channel. I've been enjoying it.

One thing I've noticed is that the player seems to autoplay a lot of the same songs. For example in a 2 hour sitting of listening today, I noticed that I heard the same Final Fantasy 2 song a few times. I also noticed that it played a lot of Final Fantasy music in general. Almost to the point where it could be called Final Fantasy radio...not that the music is bad perse, just that it would probably help the channel if there was a little more variety.

TRB_MetroidTeam : It's just for fun at the moment but probably next week I'll be implementing the score system where getting a correct answer places you on a scoreboard and getting enough correct answers wins you prizes.

Jordanv78 : What it does is it takes random music randomly between 10,000 different songs (basically any song that has a rating above 3) but the higher the rating, the more likely a song is to be played. So the lower rated stuff has a chance of being randomly selected but the higher the overall rating, the better its chances will be of getting selected. If it's grabbing a lot of FF stuff then that's probably because a lot of users have prioritized rating FF songs over a lot of other songs. I could probably look into altering my formula for grabbing music at some point. As this becomes more active, more and more users will be requesting music which means that the script will be selecting less songs at random since users will be doing it more. Davideo7 : That All makese sense. I just found it to be odd that I heard the same Final Fantasy 2 song at least 2 times in around 2 hours of listening, and several songs from Final Fantasy in General, especially since there are so many songs to choose from.

I will make sure to keep listening to see if that changes as the channel gets more active.

Jordanv78 : A feature I plan to implement is a song history tracker. Basically a page that keeps track of every song ever played, the time it played, who requested it (if someone did), if it was vetoed, if it was answered correctly (once answering is official) and more. I'll also be able to use that script to make sure the same song doesn't get played within a 3 hour period. I could probably even take it further and make it so that a user can't request a song that has been played within the past hour or so.

The reward system you mentioned sounds quite interesting. How exactly does it work? I ask because the Video Game Music Radio is on Twitch instead of the Vizzed website, and I´m left questioning how users get rewarded for something outside the site.

TouchMaster97 : The rewarding would take place on Vizzed. So for example, to give an answer for what you think a game is, you'd do the answering on Vizzed. For prizes that are given out, those would be links that when clicked, you'd get the prize on Vizzed.

Davideo7 : Those features sound awesome. A limit is certainly needed, because there are users like Vizzy900 that will keep requesting the same couple of songs as many times as possible. Which is especially an issue when they have the 2x song request ticket.

Jordanv78 : And an even bigger issue when the majority of users don't care for the songs that he usually requests lol. Fun fact, his overall rank in my music competitions is lower than anyone else by a huge margin.
