In the last days we've had some cold back. I had to take my coat out of... well, nowhere, I didn't get to put it back to the wardrobe just yet and time proved me well xD

We had some rain yesterday as well, so we're now on a streak of days where the main hours are very hot under the basking sun but the wind is chilly and when the sun goes out temperature can drop quite a lot. You can already tell the difference when you go under the shadows, compared to the blazing sun.

Looks like in Monday temperatures will take another drop, and with more rain coming. It definitely puts on hold my plans to start considering a change in wardrobe to short sleeves and thinner jackets for now, and we'll see how the rest of April unfolds because it's being quite unpredictable so far.

Usually around this time is when I start to complain about the heat however Summer like weather has been taking it's time to get here, like it's been raining on and off like crazy for the last several weeks, Damn you La Nina

and there are Tornado warnings in my province, nowhere near Winnipeg though (there'd better not be my knee hurts like hell right now)

Right now its a clear sunny day, but it feels very hot. Temps in the mid 90s, feeling like 100+. Its gonna be like that for the rest pf the week. I can only be glad i don't work outside. We are getting a bit of a relief from the heat next week but it will be short lived as its get very hot again afterwards. Summer am i right.

So much rain and storms. And on Sunday it was almost 100 degrees! I was annoyed, only thing good about the rain is that I don't have to water my jalapenos.

If it's this hot and rainy, then in winter, I hope it's Cold and Snowy, instead of depressing rain and stupid 40-50 degree temp.

[EDIT] There is a tornado watch.

It used to be scorching hot, but as the sun hid and the wind picked up it was back to autumn. Then, this weekend we had brief rain showers (brief enough to ruin our sessions of board gaming in the rooftop) which cooled down the ambient even more. Not to mention when we had a downpour of mud, which left everything dirty and took a lot to take out.

So basically, in a few days, I went from opening all doors and windows for ventilation to barely needing any ventilation to be in a good temperature. I also went from not needing anything over my short-sleeved shirt to need a thin jacket at times.

Simply marvelous.

Once again it is raining in Winnipeg and it's poor timing today is Canada day and there are fireworks galore planned but since it's a thunderstorm today so we get a free light show from there, I guess it's a good thing we did Canada Day yesterday instead of today

It's cloudy like crazy right now and rain is supposed to be expected (actually come to think of it there should have been a thunderstorm though I just checked the radar, it's expected within the next half hour well I hope the power won't go out (the last time it did was five years ago and it cost me some of my day). This would be all fine and good if I owned a raincoat but everything is online these days

It is hot and dry. We have had temps 96-100 and heat indexes up to 105-110. Yeah its pretty toasty. What is more concerning is how dry its been. In my area after July we have the driest months August and September coming up. Those months are usually when my area can get into droughts. As a meteorologist I have looked at charts and it looks like a drought will develop in my area for late summer and early fall. My city of residence had above average rainfall in June. But locations just to the south have been 3.5 inches behind in rainfall.
