I have cereal with in-between cold and hot milk 99% of the time, but I prefer cold milk over hot milk. It's tastier and healthier. I'm American so we may be speaking different languages here. No one I have ever met has ever eaten cereal with hot milk. It's unheard of on my side of the pond. I can see calling oatmeal or bran 'cereal' and eating it heated up but even that isn't really our vocabulary.

Americans go cold milk on cereal. No if, ands, or buts about it. It's been covered and I'm not really bringing a hot take to the conversation but I'm following up on those of us in the New World. We eat our cereal with cold milk.

I thought about hot milk and it seems unappealing to me. I think I'll pass. I'm usually open-minded but that seems like a waste of a bowl of cereal. I know what works for me and I stick to it.

I actually don't drink milk with my cereal most of the time, I've just never been fond of it. Soggy cereal just isn't that fun, the crunchy stuff is where its at. However, whenever I do have cereal with milk in it, I always choose to have cold milk. Hot milk I don't feel would mix very well with the whole cereal thing, so I'll just stay away from it lol.

I honestly think they're both ok, but I slightly prefer cold milk to warm when it comes to cereal. I think it feels a little too weird and kinda of disgusting when the cereal is warm and soggy, but when it's cold, I like it more for some reason. If I'm just drinking milk, I actually prefer it warm, but when it involves cereal I like having the milk cooler.

Well I prefer cold and honestly I've never tried it otherwise, though you have me interested now that you say it makes the cereal soggy faster as I love slightly soggy cereal. In fact I make it a point to push all of the cereal under the milk repeatedly and sometimes leave it sitting for a few minutes before starting to eat it just so it will get soggy. :3 I don't think I'd like it warm though as I prefer most of my foods to be cold or lukewarm. I can't think of anything I prefer hot except maybe pizza but I'm torn on that even.

I read the title of the post, and was beyond wonder to see who takes their cereal with hot milk. I just don't get it. To me, eating cereals in the morning equals refreshing in the mouth. I don't think I'll try out hot milk in my cereal that soon (or ever, for that matter).

Yeah I can understand about when eating any types of cereals with cold milk, it tastes pretty good. And don't worry, I understand you don't need to try out hot milk not unless you really want too. Just stay with what you normally do by having cold milk.
