You beat me to saying it. I too have this eerie feeling that an inside job was at stake because even though it would happen sooner or later, there is no way Nintendo could have known which exact games to remove. Let's look at Somari for example, no Nintendo rep is gonna find that out of the blue or better yet how about the games that don't even give a hint of Nintendo owned property in the title.

its in data of ROM thats how they where tracked     i downloaded  mariomaker PDF its book that came with mariomaker in PDF format  i uploaded to mediafire then shared link @darkumbra    well 4-5 months later i got copyright notice from Nintendo Of Europe Gmbh  i got notice at mediafire for link @darkumbra      lol  how does that work?  someone from Nintendo saw it an reported it   nope   has be with data in link

Still wishing that it was all an early April fools day joke.
What really got me the most though is the hacks, I would be fine without the other games, but Vizzed is only place I can safely find and play hacks without sketchy ads and pop ups.

Though we should try to stay positive, and least this would lower the bandwidth (I think that's what it's called) costs to run servers. Also, it might give incentive to users to check  the forums and not play pokemon all day xD

And honestly, what was nintendo thinking, there's still hundreds of other places to get these roms, why Vizzed?.

I used to play the pokemon games so I liked it but I think this disaster is the downfall.

Mangepic : This is all Nintendo's "fiendish plot" to take down all of their games off sites offering them for free and forcing people to buy their games as the only way of playing Nintendo.

Mangepic : They seem to think that their sales are being affected by new systems of ROM-hacks and emulators when it's because they need to make better business decisions and consoles they keep doing stupid things and it's not anyone else's fault but theirs. I'm surprised they're taking offline games that barely sold or such as if that's going to affect their sales so much. I lost trust in the company after they released Super Mario Maker and I will refuse to buy their new products until they stop doing stupid things; haven't even bought a Nintendo product since August 2013 anyway.

All you are now are inhuman money-making, dollar on your butts of a company, disguised as someone I used to look up to, but nevermore. You know why we play these games? To relive the nostalgia, but you decide to get back at us, you think that's going to work? Perhaps... IF YOU ACTUALLY WEREN'T SUCH SENSELESS BEINGS!

Tell me Nintendo when did you ever do a 10th anniversary for Earthbound, or the whole Mother Series?

Now it may sound trivial, but take a look at the other games that you removed, these "hacked" Pokemon games. These games are the ultimate definition of the perfect fan-base, one that will use up their time to make games that they dream of having and the only way to do that, is by making a "hacked" game. Many people put their hearts into these games, even if it wasn't their own game, the work they put in it, can be considered their own.

BUT YOU TOOK DOWN WITH NO REMORSE

The Pokemon series is one of your best, but maybe there's still things people aren't satisfied with. I know I am, The 6th Generation of Pokemon was the all time low in the series, and seeing as you are already going to jump to the next generation, is just utterly disappointing...

What ever happened to the old Nintendo? The one that doesn't make a game, to make a quick buck of it.
The games that you removed from this site, where timeless, they were the reason why you got famous, but
their time with you is over, it's our turn to enjoy them, and convert them into what we wanted. It may be minor and can even be major.

But your stubbornness has poisoned your mind.

And thus, you lost a fan...

I hope vizzed can still get back up financially.

I must say I just came back to this site after years of inactivity and just got settled into my "Super Metroid" stance only to find ....dun.....dun...dun.... a day later NO MORE SNES a day later. I am mortified, please David, if you need us to sign a letter or a petition... or harrass Nintendo's call center lines, we got your back  

Oh, come ON! Seriously, Nintendo? I'm disgusted. David bought those games and he is just loaning them to us just like you would lend them to a friend. Ugh. I'm sending an email to Nintendo.

Davideo7 : Wow pretty much every game on that list are fan hacks, that's freaking heartless. I expected much more from Nintendo, I'm sorry to hear you had to do that, David. All of us will be here to keep supporting your awesome site, don't worry.

Jeez, that's just low, but you wanna know what I absolutely hate about this? Nintendo will probably say that by having games on this website it would cost them a lot because nobody's buying them, EVEN THOUGH THAT NINTENDO ISN'T SELLING THEM!!!

I'm not shocked however. Nintendo is the exact same company that won't even allow its fans to get payed off fair use game play on Youtube. While taking the games down is within they're right, this is A-holeish of them to take down extremely old games WITH the hacks which should be fair use legal.

All i can say David.  Make sure your Lawyer is Jewish.  Dealing with Nintendo?  Get your inventory of hard copy games together quick fast and in a hurry.  I hope its not that serious bro.

As if censoring "finish it's glaive", taking down videos for, really, we can all tell it's for money. They have to go and take down F-zero X and FE2, F-zero X, maybe I could see them doing something with, and that's a big maybe. (how many years has it been since the last F-zero game again?) but FE2? Yeah, I'm sure that Japan-only game will be finding its way onto the eshop. Especially after Awakening created this mentality among newer FE fans that "if the game doesn't have casual mode, then it's not worth playing."

   *sigh* I hate getting personal, because I find it really awkward, but I think it should be said. F-zero X got me into F-zero. Some time after discovering X on vizzed, I bought GX. Fire Emblem Gaiden got me into Fire Emblem, back when I was in third grade, I discovered FE2, I thought it was FE1 at first, and thought the whole time: "Where's Marth?" and then I got everyone killed in the third map. But because of that game, I began to enjoy strategy RPGs, and RPGs in general.

So, all I can say is... Thank you Nintendo, thank you for reminding me that the only reason I remain near you is because Capcom decided that Monster Hunter is better suited for you than Sony. I bet they're kicking themselves now over that decision. Thank you for reminding me the reason why I'm primarily a PC gamer, even though my PC isn't all that good. Thank you for showing me that whenever I think that this world has even the slightest shred of dignity, you are there to burn that thought to the ground. The Wii U doesn't Deserve La-Mulana 2, The Wii didn't deserve La-Mulana.

If I knew where to complain, I would. If I knew how to hack, I would. If I could do anything to help besides words, I would. But I know nothing pierces a soundproof room made of gold.

EDIT: Wow, after going through that whole list, it's like reading a list of casualties. And every single one is a relative. Even the drunk, creepy ones like Somari held some value.

Nintendo just needs to realize how absurd this is, I mean taking down the hacks is ridiculous. Lets just hope this entire situation gets resolved soon...

Wow this sucks, one of the reasons I joined was for the Pokémon games. Luckily there are other games on here that I enjoy. Nintendo most likely did this so people would pay for them on their new consoles. As for the hacked games well their games are the base and the characters are theirs too. They consider Vizzed a threat now because why would anyone pay them if it was free here.
