I would go on the internet to play some flash games. It was long ago. I went to the ancient Looney Tunes and Nick Jr sites mainly. Then I got into armorgames a few years later. I would also go to the internet for help with video games.

The first thing I was doing on Internet was searching "Mario Games" and play them. Yeah...Rough Times. I still do this.

I can't remember. It was probably for something for school. I remember using "Yahoo search" really early on. Then I would of used it for a video site (before youtube), like ebaums world, or black albino sheep. Then Light Knight came to Vizzed.

Skilledtree : Oh my god, yes! I now remember playing games on sites like Nick and Candystand on my free time at school! We tykes went to educational sites like Brainpop and Starfall. Now come to think of it, my earliest memories of internet use was in the computer lab since my house still had dial-up (I vaguely remember the noises), which I wasn't allowed to use unsupervised.

My first moment of using the internet feels so ancient to me now. I believe it was my school work as a child.

I was on dial up a few decades ago, and got onto a BBS site called Peanut's Playhouse.  It had some wonderful story rpgs that I would play every day.  I wish I could remember the name of some of them, the beginnings of MMORPG for sure

I think the first (or one of the earliest) things that I did on the internet was make an eBay account. That was at 2 years old. Don't ask how or why.

The first thing I did? Let me see.... Well, it seems my memory is a bit fuzzy on the subject. However, I do remember it was around either 2007 - 2008. I remember searching for websites with games on Google. Websites like GameFudge, and SilverGames on my Windows '98 Desktop (boy was it slow, though). I also remember looking up some art from different franchises. Stuff like Mario, Kirby, Klonoa. I think YouTube was starting to grow, because I remember watching a lot of AMVs and PMVs at the time.


Take note that all of this happened in one day, so I am not sure which event came first. ):T

When I was younger, the first thing I did on internet was playing that poptropica or something like that. I remember playing it in library at my old elementary school.

First thing I did was create a MySpace profile as it was at its peak at the time. I think I spent all night up customizing my profile. Then, YouTube. Gosh, I watched so many videos of just about anything and everything including funny cats, pranks, and old movie clips.

Crazy to see how far things have come and how much we've evolved to utilize the internet in so many new ways like Twitch and Skype.
Wonders what's next? I'm sure it'll be good 

The first major Internet-related thing I did was make a Club Penguin account. You have to understand, though; I'm not one for stereotypes, but any kid born in the mid to late 90s (I, myself, was born in '97), like it or not, probably played this at some point and begged their parents to pay for the member subscription, and I was no exception. Even if you never play it again, chances are you have at least once. I know almost all of my elementary school friends did at some point. It was kind of like having a Gameboy Advance at the time. Most people who could afford it had one. Same case here.

This trend continued with Runescape (which I honestly didn't like, even with the member subscription), and later FunOrb, made by the same people who made Runescape, Jagex (I enjoyed this for a good while, and the game Arcanists was super fun, in particular). But Club Penguin was undeniably the first thing I did of even slight "importance" on the Internet.

Oh god. This is bringing back cringe memories, and my story is kinda cringy but I used to be super obsessed with Yu-Gi-Oh! and had like the biggest crush on Kaiba. I mean, it was bad. Like if he were a real person, I'm pretty sure I would have been labeled a stalker because oh man... But anyway, my first actual things I did on the internet was google pictures of him, which lead me to finding the old 4Kids website, where I made an account. And that was my first time talking to people over the internet and making friends and using a board. I also remember being introduced to AMVs and basically wasted all my time watching them. Writing subpar fanfiction (which I already did before the internet, but now I could share my subpar fanfiction with the WORLD). And eventually moving to writing more creative stories and posting them on Bebo when Bebo actually offered to publish online stories... or whatever it was they did. Bebo also began my emo phase >.>. How I went from stalking Kaiba to being a "troubled youth" that "no one understands" while writing stories, I'll never know. What a journey.

Being 13 and misunderstood is just too hard /sniff. 

I think my first experience with the internet was school-related. I believe it was going to a website that was printed in a worksheet. After that, I think I made a Xanga blog account, and an AIM username. The first internet game I felt invested in was Neopets. 
Homestar Runner, Runescape, DragonFable, The Impossible Quiz, Oekaki Boards, and GaiaOnline are also some things I remember around that time period.

The first thing I did when I started using the internet was porn signing up for Toontown Online (old Disney MMO) because I saw it in advertisements and thought it looked awesome.

I don't really remember. I was never really that big into the internet when I was young. It was probably some time in the early 2000's for a school project or something. Either that or when one of my friends showed me Runescape in like 2004-06 or something XD. I don't remember.

For the most part, the first things I did were playing a lot of flash games, both good and shabby. We had dialup internet until around 2007, so my parents didn't want me using up all the precious data. After we got high speed, they let me mess with some online games, although I still used locally installed software.

Believe it or not, I found out abut Vizzed around 2008, but couldn't join as I didn't have an email address. Once I finally did, Vizzed was literally the first site I signed up for.

Hmm, It would be back when ol' dial up was the main internet and you had to stare at it while it tried to connect lol. I'm pretty sure it was at elementary school when someone showed me a site called Stick death.com. We thought it was like the coolest thing watching that crap!

I know what I did when I first got onto the internet.... I made an e-mail account. I started using the internet 20 years ago though so a lot has changed since then Not even remotely similar to what we see now.

Still, pretty crazy that I've been using the internet for that long.

Go and watch the anime I so long missed from my old days. I once had a computer without sound and it was awful! It took number of years before I got my own laptop with sound. I cried when that happened. Then gradually I started to learn homeschool stuff such as baking to pitch up my skills and to learn new things as well. Shortly I began doing other things sadly which I can't remember but I do remember it was to do with learning. I then started to watch old school Disney films and more. So basically I just wanted to start with what I missed from my childhood days because I have a short term memory I held onto those memories a lot to remember them. I did forget some other old shows I used to watch but then found them on youtube. ^-^
