It was a new day at the Lakewood Fitness Center, where a new weekly fitness program had recently been put in place for the towns overweight citizens gathered to change their lives. Zach, the intern from college was overseeing the new program put together the agenda for each class with confidence, thinking that by the end of the year, all of the program goers would be changes for the better.

"Welcome back to the weight loss program here at Lakewood," he said to the 12 remaining participants. The week before, which was the 1st week of the programs had 30, but the remaining 18 participants gave up after just 4 hours.

"Today, we are going to be doing a new activity, how many of you know duck duck goose?"

Everybody's hands shot up.

"I'm talking about the game, not the food."

Half of the hands went back down.

"We will be playing a new version of the game that will guarantee that you will be on your feet and moving around! After we play a few rounds of this game, all of you will be in great shape."

A hand went up. "Shape?" Asked Nate, "I wanna look like Mikey, he looks like a pizza pie and that is good enough for me."

"All right, all right," said Zach. "Just sit in a circle on the floor so I can explain the rules.

After 10 minutes of shuffling on the floor, and explaining the rules, everyone was on the floor except for Zach, who was walking around them.

"Steak." He said as he passed Mikey, tapping him on his shoulder.

"Steak." He said again at the next person.

"No steak." He said as he tapped Nate and ran off.

"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" Nate screamed as he jumped and chases Zach out of the building.

That was brilliant.  Was this your original story?  It was very original.

supernerd117 : Yep, originally the idea was something I thought I would see on a show like Family Guy and I added a few things to the original idea.

R.I.P Nate. Got chased out of some random building, I guess. Also, there's shuffling in this. "10/10. Ace. Post of the century."

This story seems like something that would really fit in a cartoon because of the type of humor XD Nice job with this even though it's a little bit short.

This sounds like something I'd read in the Sunday paper haha! All you need now is the comics to go with it.

PacmanandMariofan : That's why I had the idea for this for family guy, it would be great for a mini minute long clip.

That would be great for a comic, but like most comic strips, they are really short, and there wouldn't really be much to add unless I added all sorts of fluff to it that would have put the funny scenes further apart.

Yeah true. I guess the shortness kind of fits the whole comic vibe, and that's kind of the point.
