I tried out the new Elder Scrolls game for Switch yesterday, called Blades.

It came out yesterday and had a ton of bad reviews from it's days in early access and while I enjoyed it so far, I wasn't a nbg fan of the combat because getting used to it is tricky and someties full of bugs but everything else has been enjoyable so far.

I just returned from playing my daily "dose" of Project Cars 2. I'm pursuing total completion of the game's medals, which means winning all tournaments in career mode, not just the big championships but also the regional qualifiers. I'm taking it easy and I'll probably do some championships just for fun, so it will take me some time to finish this.

I've also been pouring a lot of time into F-Zero X lately. I want to use the confinement to collect material for future guides and I focused on this one to regain familiarity with OBS. It's been quite the challenge, but overall I think I'm doing good and I'll have the material I need in just one more day.

I will now play some Stardew Valley before going to bed. I've stopped my progress on it because of the many other things I'm also doing, but today I wanted to spend some time on it and I will play it some more just in case I "abandon" it for another while.

Just recently finished the main campaign of Mystery Dungeon DX. It was a lot better than I expected it to be judging from the demo that I played months ago. Very much hoping for a remake of the Explorer games in a similar fashion.

The last video game I played was Super Mario Galaxy 2. I have been slowly working through that game so I can hopefully beat it 100% like I did for the first Super Mario Galaxy. But that might take quite a long time. :/

The last game I played was Minecraft. I was playing some spooky scary horror adventure maps with a close friend of mine and we just had a laugh getting jump scared and everything that comes with those kinds of maps. I already knew this but I got reminded at how bad I am with jump scares, I literally scream and jump every single time.

I guess it's funny though. I'd only play horror in Minecraft, I'm too scared to try a real horror game. I played slenderman when I was younger and that s*** gave me nightmares so I'd rather not go through that again.

The last game I played was Dark Cloud, a PS2 game that I bought from the PS4 store. I'm in the middle of platinuming two other games (DQ11 and Shadow of the Colossus). I'm taking a break from DQ11 because I'm starting to get burned out and I need to take a break from SOTC because some of the colossi are a pain to defeat in the time limit on Hard Timed Attack mode. I love this game and I'm glad they kept it mostly true to the original, but the annoying camera and wonky physics they brought from the original really sour the experience for me sometimes.

I've been playing a TON of Fate/Grand Order lately. It's a gacha game based on the Fate universe, though it introduces a bunch of new characters/servants on top of the ones that already existed through the already-established storylines of Fate. It's actually quite a fun game, and even though it's a gacha, it's pretty free-to-play friendly so there's no real downside to not getting lucky in the summons. Pretty easy to play it while I'm working on the Tour de Vizzed as well. My motivation to play gacha games is wishy-washy in the first place though, so eventually I may forget about it again and move back to clearing my backlog of *actual* games to play... it's massive at this point.
