I picked heavy, because I do sleep through almost anything and everything but I have noticed lately that I have been waking up if somebody does something around in my room and makes a bunch of noisy.

Since I stay up late, I'm a heavy sleeper. There are some days that I black out for a few hours before waking up and others where I dream for most of the time but don't feel refreshed. Nowadays I don't even hear my alarm and wake up whenever I wake up (only half an hour later).

When I'm not sleep deprived, I'm in the middle. I don't wake up for most things but music will wake me up.

Mostly I sleep about 6 hours and that just enough for me. And if I sleep somewhere else than home I wake pretty easily. If somebody opens door or walks in the same room where I sleep, I wake up. But in my own bed I sleep like a lumber.

You guys are really lucky I am an extremely light sleeper I can only get to sleep if I'm in a pitch black room (all electronics and things must be unplugged like seriously pitch black) with no sound whatsoever (other than Whip-poor-wills nature doesn't bother me) and it has to be extremely cold because of these requirements a normal night of sleep only lasts from 3 to 6 am (roughly) with this being said sometimes for some reason on very rare occasions ill end up sleeping for like 18 hours the weirdest thing is after these "mini comas" I wake up feeling tired and groggy like I had just slept the worst night of sleep in my life. Does anyone else feel like this or am I the only one with crazy insomnia?

I was distracted by Vizzed last night and ended up awake 33 hours after which I fell asleep for an hour and a half (because I ate an extremely heavy lunch at a buffet). 

Now I feel perfectly fine and rested. 

Surely, I've been sleeping deeper than I ever thought possible.

I'm not sure that's completely it, because isn't REM (which seems to be the most important part of sleep) supposed to be a lighter sleep?

I am just one of those Light Sleepers. I can't even sleep sometimes and it is just so hard! o: I used to be a heavy sleeper because I slept so easily back then. Now I have sleeping problems and that lead me into playing video games all night. :p

I am actually rather quiet. Some nights I sleep heavier than others, but most of the time I would say that I am somewhere right in the middle.
