Unfortunately for you, black makes a stark contrast to the white snow all around you as you attempt to make your mistake.  The prison sentries see you clearly, the bullet passes through your brain, killing you, even before the sound of the shot being fired echoes through the cold morning air.  Your crimson blood and black clothing mar the pristine white snow until the guards finally come to drag your corpse back to the prison, leaving a red streak through the snow where they dragged you, a clear warning to any other inmates who may be considering escape.  You are dead.
