I've added some automated rules which automatically prevent back and forth posting (also known as "sandwich" posting).

Here's the max number of times you can post back and forth before having to wait for someone else to post:

2 = Vizzed Ville South forums
4 = Help Forums
3 = All other forums

If you're the one who made the thread, your limit is doubled. If you're a staff member, you have no limit.

Here's an example:

UserA posts
UserB posts
UserA posts
UserC posts
UserA posts
UserD posts

For most forums, UserA wouldn't be able to make another post until someone else posted.

   This is a great idea! This will really help when it comes to the lots of spammy posting. But the only problem I can see with is is bidding. If you are in a bidding war in the Vizzed Market, and two people are going back and forth, you would need some spammy post in the middle. 

   So is there any penalty for attempting to sandwich? Or will it just say that the post can't go through?

patar4097 : Yeah bid posts will be affected by this but this will force users to throw up higher bids at a time. I've always viewed bids as being a little spammy though and an easy way to earn posts.

There wont be any penalties, it'll simply just not let you post again until someone else has.

supercool22 : well, he can't prevent spamming or flaming. You couldn't write code good enough to do that. There are some things he could do but they wouldn't actually stop people if they were determined enough to get around the rules. More work than it's worth for him.

Little rules like this are easy ways to prevent spamming automatically and then the staff handles the rest.

Now I know,I think its a really good idea to.

Vizzed has 3 TB worth of games and 1 TB worth of music.  This site is free to use but the ads barely pay for the monthly server fees.  If too many more people use ad block, the site cannot survive.
