I loved it because of how random it is and how you would never be able to do 99.9% of what they do in the show in real life without being murdered / arrested.

However I do agree that the later episodes are taking things a little bit too far. Too much blood and gore for what is just meant to be hilarious stuff. The older seasons were DEFINITELY better!

I have only seen this show once, and honestly it is the stupidest thing I have ever had the displeasure of watching. It looks so dumb, the humor is inappropriate, crazy, the characters are lame and dumb, the reason you might like it like sededa said, there is nothing wrong with you, the humor may just be silly, dumb and random, that it may just be enough to appeal to you in some way haha. Everyone is different!

But then again, that has never really stopped me watching it.

There are some parts of this show that make me laugh hysterically. There are others that just don't interest me at all. And there are some that are flat-out offensive. You give and you take with a show like this. Personally, my favorite episode is when Peter played for the New England Patriots. The Shipoopi dance was absolutely hysterical!

It just looks so dumb and immature, I don't see how anyone can really like or appreciate this show. I am sorry for having a negative attitude towards it, but it just looks kind of dumb to me, the characters and everything about it, I just don't think it would appeal to me, and yet every dude at my school always seems to talk about it. I just kind of think, how can you find this show so interesting? That is just the way I feel about it though, I am sure a lot of people find it funny, I just see it as a little dumb that's all. It does not single anyone out. Its one of those shows that say "if you can't laugh at yourself, then your life has no excitement or happiness." This show is just like the widely popular and successful Simpsons, but it goes one step further. People that hate Family Guy have absolutely no sense of humor. You have to remember its just another TV show that makes you laugh.

 I think it's because of it's such a fun mix of raunchy comedy, nostalgia, pop culture and just plain silly situations all presented in a sitcom type format so it's easy to digest.

Family guy to me is still enjoyable. I geuss since I recently started watching it a few months ago, I can't tell which are the old good ones or the new bad I hear about. I think most of them are still funny though. Okay I will admit, I have a stone cold sense of humor. I rarely laugh period. So if this this gets chuckles out of me, I consider it still decent. If you don't enjoy it today, well think about you matured. Your sense of humor became more conserved. So you probably grew out of the show. I will admit In sort of prefer American Dad and Family guy does occasionally have the sketch that lasts to long like that prom night dumpster baby sketch...
