Once I told a girl my friend had a crush on her and I set up a blind date only for her to end up meeting up with me. But I guess she already assumed I liked her and it didn't go well. Nonetheless, I find as others said, making them laugh works well but if you make them laugh too much they assume your a comedian and it loses it's magic. Also being really random and obvious works. Like running up and hugging them and saying, hey, I like you and that hug totally made my day. Because they'll find it cute... Or punch you. Take the chance.

I don't give any signals, if I like someone I will go right out and say it normally lol I don't see a point in beating around the bush about it get it over and done with, its better than admiring from a distance for ages. Well for me anyway.

I would have to say I try to make them laugh and do small things for them to help them out. I guess this is to guy close without rushing into it and looking creepy.

Well, most commonly... people will wink, or blow a kiss. Sometimes they'll offer a gift such as a cup of coffee and so on...

To be honest, if you really really want someone, you need to break out of your SHYNESS shell... and just go to that person.

Obviously going up to someone and saying "I like you" is a bit creepy, but you got to definitely draw their attention.

Do something if they're like sitting by themselves or hanging outside... and be like "hey, I was on my way to get a cup of coffee (or whatever) and I was wondering if you'd like one too?"

Kind of give them the idea that you're interested, but don't let your emotions overflow and underflow.. if you do that, you'll either go back to being shy... or you'll resent people because you got rejected.

In general, when it comes to flirting and dating... and love and all that mess, if you spend your time hiding... nothing will happen, if you come out too strong... you'll get rejected... if you casually flirt using invitations, then something might happen.

AVOID the common pickup lines... if you use those like "Hey, you must be tired... cause you've been running through my mind all day", then you're not only a dork but a moron... no offense.
