I would definitely choose to have Nintendo over Sega, but that is just because I have found more of my favorite game from them. But neither is better than the other. While Nintendo brought us all the Marios, Metroids, and Zeldas, Sega brought us the Sonics, Shining Force, and Shenmue (please finish the saga!). Some of my favorites are from Sega as well. Can't vote for just one, personally.

I have and always will be a Nintendo fangirl. Sega has some good games and franchises out there, but I think Nintendo makes more enjoyable ones overall. With Mario, Link, and Pokemon, Nintendo just takes the cake when it comes to long lasting and entertaining characters. And the consoles like the DS and Wii just make the company all the more better.
