vash: a while ago now, just looked at 1 of those competitive moveset walktroughs back in the ruby/sapphire days. this kinda leads me to something related.

i got the pokerus, but i didn't realize until it went away : if your wondering what it looks like in this gen, its a smiley face when u look @ your pokes main window, within the image of your poke, and once u get immunity after 24 hours it goes to a :| face... i saw the happy face and was like wtf... then i go to the pokecentre when they went :| and she tells me what it was... truly infuriating.

anyway, various stats, i havent played much since i last posted, my bro hijacked pearl on the sd card for a few days

Neojazex, a little advice would be to make a backup of your save file once in a while if you risk the possibility of losing it or of having it destroyed. You can always get diamond also on the same cart for him to play and start from scratch.

Also, your catching up to me with your pokemon levels, so hopefully in a week or so we can battle online.

I've played a handful more, up to the galactic building, haven't gone in yet except to get dusk stone (Lv 45 i'll evolve murkrow), i caught every unown.. its kinda lame, with them, after showin a kid the unown, u can have letters pop out with your pokemon, but it got me a couple of the hippos from the secret cave. havent caught much, sneasel, snover, cleffa, the aforementioned hippomotas or w/e.

i'm reluctant to go into the building, i feel i will try to finish pikachu or raichu's, when i evolve it, ev training, then start on another pokemon, probably Craniados, just cause he's cool like that and i picked up rock polish

What is ev training?

And how is it that everyone on the board has diamond?

EV training is training for a particular stat. Look up on Serebii.net and check their EV training guide. They have lists of Pokemon that give certain stats and they fully explain EV training.

I think I've got about 70 hours into it. My PokeDex is probably a little over 200 I think, not sure though. I usually play it only once or twice a month, but when I do, I usually play for a couple or so hours.
