I think the worst way, or at least one of the worst ways, is when you are in one of those Lvl's of Mario when the whole thing moves, and you get stuck on something and crushed between like a block and the end of the screen XD

I think the worst possible way to die is when you just about to kill a boss who you have been trying to kill for ages you get him down to his last couple hits or so then he unleashes he best the game that springs to mind for me on this subject is final fantasy 7 fighting emerald weapon arghhhhhh.

I hate it when you have one hp point left and you are about to finish the level and then a weak enemy comes and hits you real quick and you die. Only has happened once to me though and man was I mad. I also hate drowning, it is depressing to see your character drown in a game.

I'd say kind of like what some people have, where the boss would be near death or at death, but then they'd unleash one last powerful move to finish you off, and then you die.
ORRRR... in Zelda games where you have like one heart left and then you're scrambling around the boss room looking for hearts in pots or blades of grass and all you find are Rupees, and then you die. Painful.

You think your gonna win the battle when all of a sudden, you make a mistake and end up getting all your party members killed? Would those be a good example of a bad way to die in a game, if not the worst.
