You can now respond to individual people in threads. This is a great feature to get the attention of someone in a thread that they didn't make and also great way for you to know if someone is talking to you specifically in a thread.

Even if the thread wasn't created by you or favorited, if someone responds to something you said, you'll get a notification letting you know someone responded specifically to what you said in a post. This is how someone would specifically respond to you (if your name was davideo7):

Davideo7: Hello me

You can also respond to multiple users like this:

geeogree: Hey

JigSaw: Yo

Zeldisaster: Heyyyo

Their name will also be clickable which leads to their profile. I really wanted to get rid of the current quoting, it's just sloppy, usually looks bad and almost always abused.

Where the old 'Quote' link was is now a 'Reply to Post' link. When you click it, it automatically fills in the users name that you're replying to.

Modifications to this feature will be implemented in the future but I just wanted to get something done with it now. Feature modifiations would include:
-Hovering over users name and their post pops up (not in a new window but like a tool tip)
-Check box letting you reply to multiple users (you already can reply to multiple by doing it manually)

EDIT: It doesn't work with the post of a thread that you're making.

This is really great! I've actually been meaning to as =k you if you could make it so you get notified when someone quotes you, but I kept forgetting. This is even better than that though!

Does this work if the person you name hasn't posted in the thread? Because I can see that it might be annoying at times if you get notified by something completely random, be it on purpose or a case of mistaken identity.

I like them as they are now, in their colors. I think they'll be easier to read and distinguish this way. If they were all the same, it might get a little difficult to tell who tagged you, especially if that person tagged several people.

I just found a problem with the feature that I fixed. Apparently when you went to Preview your post, it'd send a notification and mess up your post. Now you can preview your post all you want without any problems.

If anyone else notices any problems with the feature, I'll be sure to fix it ASAP.

I like the ability to get notified when someone replies to my post so that I don't have to constantly check in with each thread I post in.

And I like that I was one of the examples for this thread. Lol

And I like how Geeo was able to point out that you can summon the attention of people that have previously never responded to the thread in question. For example...

Even though he hasn't replied here before, he still will be notified to look at this thread. I would've used Dramabethie, but she responded here already so I can't use her as an example Lol.

Edit! Big Issue! Every colon that is typed is confused as a User, thus the post may be severely messed up if you do it wrong.
