I think it does. It makes me proud to think that I posted 25 times in a day, and then slightly disgusted that I actually spent so much time to post 25 or more posts in a day. It is a cool thing to gain, and I do like seeing my name in italics more than in regular print. It makes me post so much more- I try to get my name in italics at least every time I log into Viz, which really helps bring up my post count, so double win for the system. (if they didn't go to the Help Center) They would go and find out about how to get your name italicized and they would probably make at least 25 a day just to feel special or to show off.
