After I do all of the updates I have lined up, I think I'm doing alright. Then I happen to look at the scores and see I'm way behind of top spot and think "Yeah, I'm not sure I'm going to be able to get up there and keep that pace". Keeping the points going also gives me a place in the overall top 5, so a new goal has opened for me this summer. Not sure if I'll be able to hold onto it due to DavidMc's charge but that could be extra motivation for me to work on special projects for later on. I should have some free time this weekend despite the major workload I have, so I'll try to keep scoring everyday even if it's less than a handful of points. I want to make an attempt at scoring big today. I've set myself to complete one of my HoF goals today and I'm going to try hard for it. The part of tdv I always dread the middle 10 days where it's no longer the exciting start and it's also nowhere near the end how will Minuano navigate this challenging 10 days? I imagine by doing the same thing he's done all month which he has done extremely well so far lol. I've done well to get a good lead in overall green which is my main goal for the month I couldn't care less if I'm 2nd or 3rd or 8th for that matter as long as I'm top 10 I keep up my goal for the decade. I also saw Minuano say he's busier this weekend so I might put in some more effort posting today at least but we'll see if I get distracted. I just realized why I wasn't catching up.... Sonic has been getting 7 points sometimes on the green jersey. I was doing the math assuming that he was getting 5 points so I kept thinking I should be catching up to him by a point or 2 every day and when I wasn't I was confused. I knew about the 7 points but I forgot how you could get them so I wasn't looking for it when counting up points. My impressive attempt yesterday at clearing my personal goal ended up netting me half of what I needed. Well, at least I didn't deploy all my weapons due to being a bit overworked, so I'll have the chance today at matching the effort. This will also give me another chance to enter next week still at the top 5 overall. I'm not scoring as high or as consistently as DavidMC so at most I'll be able to stay there for the first half of the competition. I sincerely don't think I'll be able to bounce back when work returns to normal seeing his scoring, so I better accept my fate. Geeo seems to be on a run for Blue, it's great to see a super veteran like him motivated for one last rock. Right now it's the only open battelfield as everywhere else we see sufficient gap so as not to bother for a few days. This will also give me another chance to enter next week still at the top 5 overall. Will I watch Sonic? Not likely. I did make up some ground yesterday in spite of not actually being around much but I don't see it happening. I should have a decent amount of free time at the end of the month to really make a push for points and posts if I need it so I'm not worried about slacking a little bit in the middle of the month. I'm also trying to slowly overtake for the blue jersey if possible. I've got enough time and I only need to make up 5 points so it should be possible if I stay on top of it. My attempt at scoring yesterday was much better, and with it, I'm now slightly over the 3k total points mark. That's mostly everything I came here for, so I can chill out a bit the remainder of the competition. I won't do much today, I've been feeling unwell since after lunch for some weird reason and I had no energy to be here. This week in general will be a bit slower due to reasons, which means I'll probably sit it out and only post when necessary as I keep developing other projects. It's fairly certain I will surrender 4th overall to DavidMC after today, given his pace. I might not be able to fight back so I've accepted my fate. As long as I break the 100-point barrier I don't care about my finishing position because it's already a big effort to get up there, so two open fronts for me there. I never really gave game content adding a thought when i came to getting the red jersey. i actually get a good amount of Contribution Points from it by just filling in like 4-7 pieces of info for each game. Works great along side graphics adding. Its not too late for me to win the red jersey if i keep up.
