Furret breaks 300 points!

Another solid day yesterday could be the key to maintaining a top 5 spot. Dauntez will surely overtake me soon but I think both me and him can pass David for the higher half of the rankings.

I won't be able to do much today and maybe not tomorrow either, but I'll start thinking on when and how to drop the next weapon down my arsenal. Probably not gonna net me the Yellow jersey I deserve but my goals are others this month.

Even though it's still relatively early, I humbly request for Thursday's title be "Halfway through, Furret has more than triple the points of second place". As things go we need titles which are similarly sick to that scoreboard for the second half of the month.

I'm not going to lie. It is a little deflating to check the daily score and see how little it will take in order to get a decent number of point.

I need to make 4-6 posts to get points in basically everything. If the posts are long enough I'll probably get a decent score in all 4 categories too.

It shouldn't be this easy. I'm okay with it being this easy but it shouldn't be. I guess technically I'm not winning or anything like this. Furret is destroying all of us but staying in second place with the effort I've put in is kind of sad to be honest.

Again, not asking for anyone in the veteran category to go nuts or anything. I like my lead.... but I'm not sure how much of a victory it will be when the TdV is over.

I'm very curious to see what weapon Palen has that won't net him a Yellow Jersey. This is a whole new Palen we might be seeing this month, and we should all be scared.

I hope I can maintain this pace for another 2 weeks. I kind of waited quite late to start today, didn't really remember to compete until 11pm or so lol.

geeogree : I think that's just the state of things now unfortunately. To be honest with us going back to 4 TdV competitions a year, it's hard to have people invested in every single one of them like before. Two a year might make more people give it a shot when it does happen, but at the cost of less activity during Spring or Autumn. Sonic would have had similar results to what I'm having now if I hadn't put my hat in the ring last time.

I was hoping Goblin would give you a little run for your money for gray to increase activity in general, but he seems to have dropped out or stopped caring.

I've surprisingly gotten quite a few notifications for this thread despite doing basically nothing all month. Not sure how I keep getting points, but I'll take em, I suppose.

In other news, Furret is on pace to absolutely destroy his own record for largest margin of victory in a Tour de Vizzed. The current record in 297, which Furret achieved in Summer 2019. His current lead is already over 200, and we aren't even half way through the month.

I wasn't sure if I was going to get passed last night, I ended up just going to bed at some point as I was really tired.

Today me and Sonic did a lot of random odd jobs around the site, seems like that really boosted our numbers in Red and Green. I'll have to put in some more effort to stay clear of him today.

Activity seems very low today, bit sad about that but what can you do.

In other news, I just hit 100 Green Jerseys, becoming the second user to score 100 in two Jerseys (first being Sonic). Hoping to add Yellow and Blue to that soon.

Furret gets 4 7-pointers.

It's nice to come in here and see TdV still going as it did in the past. Thus far, I'm not too surprised at the results, but hey.

For some reason I keep forgetting to compete, you know maybe in Spring TdV I'll do more because I started late, and already got DQ'd from a Jersey, AND Furret has such a huge lead.

Well yesterday I wasn't trying to do so many actions I was just doing various things on the site and somehow ended up with 60 actions lol but I have now scored the 2nd most points in tdv history the only person who has now scored more than me is David which I don't expect to ever pass he has 1000 point lead after all and has scored in the top 10 of all tdvs with 2 exceptions where my goal is simply to be the only user to score top 10 in every tdv this decade.

Also congrats Furret on being the first user to win 100 of 3 different jerseys and likely will be the first to have 100 in all 4 jerseys sometime this month!

Yesterday I had zero time for myself because work is starting to kill me. I was able to set aside a couple hours today before I'm hit with more during the weekend, so I'll see if I can set aside some time to work on my projects for this site.

I was close to passing David, but I lost a bit of ground yesterday and with hard prospects for the next days. I hope I can do just enough to beat him to that overall top 5, I have a more difficult goal in mind so I will stick to the more accessible one for now until life clears out a bit.

Furret : I've fired it twice already this month, and I fully intend on firing more rounds of it if life allows me to. I could aim for more ambitious ideas but I fear they'll be too complicated for the average reader so that's why I'm starting with the accessible projects to gain momentum and sharpen my style.

Last night is a reminder of why being European is a curse in TdV. You end up getting passed in the middle of the night and need to screw up your sleep schedule to even try and do something about it. Oh well, still going strong.

Like Sonic mentioned I now own 100+ yellow, red, and green jerseys. Almost got them all lol.

After today's results I think I could push to hit 400 Points tomorrow. Quite nice as a little midway point of the month, I would say.

Let's be honest, Furret won at this point, unless he like can't compete for the rest of TdV. So every day now I'ma take Blue Jersey from him.

Welcome back Light Knight!

I was excited to see Light Knight! He even scored 2 points!
Always happy to see familiar faces return, even if just for a little while.

I'm looking to pass 400 points after today, which I'm really happy about. Not very energetic today though, definitely starting to feel a bit fatigued. If I can get through next week alright I know I can finish strong.

I've been too busy at work and with the family to take the time to post the last couple days. My wife has some women over tonight and my girls went to hang out with their only girl cousin (on my side) so I've got the evening to myself.

I wouldn't have thought I'd place here, but I don't have an issue with it? Dunno how many posts I'll keep up, but I'm glad to hear the updates in this thread, especially from the old users I remember.
