I woke up around 12:45 pm, which gave me just enough time to run a few quick errands before rushing off for work at 2 pm. Even though I got about 7 hours of sleep (give or take), I still felt a bit drowsy at work. Thankfully I can sleep in and take it easy today though, lol.

I wake up today, and really every day, around 8 in the morning. I clock in at 8:30 (I work from home so there's no rush at all). The half hour to mentally set myself for the day, or even make a cup of coffee if I realize I'm gonna need a little help, is more than enough time. Since I'm in front of electronics for a vast majority of the day I do make sure to spend the time away from them, ideally looking out a window if I'm not just straight out sitting outside.

I woke up around 10:30 am today. I had to get my car inspected at a new auto repair shop since the one I've been going to for the last 4-5 years permanently closed 2 months ago. I had no idea, so I had to find a suitable replacement nearby that rated well.

Even though I knew I had to be awake early, set 3 alarms on my phone, and made an effort to go to bed at a decent hour, I still didn't get adequate rest and woke up feeling like I'd been run over by a train. Nothing new though. Whenever I have an appointment or plans the following day, my stupid mind refuses to wind down for the night to let me fall asleep. Instead, I toss and turn restlessly until the time I have to be awake is upon me or my alarm goes off. It's awful and I hate it.

Thankfully I passed the inspection and I can sleep in tomorrow, lol.

I accidentally woke up a little late today too. Was actually almost late for work in fact, but fortunately I do set backup alarms just in case of these scenarios. I was sleeping well for once, rather than waking up 30-40 minutes before whatever intended time and not feeling sufficiently rested - I'll never regret getting a little extra sleep.
