My two cents: Go for it. It makes perfect sense to keep up with how software and technology moves forward. Now foe the sake of legacy and those that wish not to move forward, I believe everyone who owns a plit on the server deserves a download of the old server so they can choose to either discard or preserve their creations, especially the ones that spend months on various large builds

Will the commands within the command blocks we've set migrate over? I know the blocks will, but if we're migrating between versions, will the commands themselves migrate?

Plots weren't the only thing plugins helped us with - how practical are other anti-cheat plugins? Worst case scenario would be to migrate over, only to find that it's easily exploitable, and have to go back down or dedicate a lot of time to initial adjustments.

Additionally, how would Admins work? Would the existing mods be back on duty (since we've been on hiatus while the server is inaccessible), or will you select a new team? How much will Admins be able to do, compared to the current server?

Overall, I think it'd be great for activity. I just want to ensure the migration is set up for success!

Maybe I will ultimately go for giving bedrock edition a try, if it seems destined vizzed will be going there..

I have all additions of Minecraft so I'm all for the migration to include everyone. I don't have Win10 on my gaming pc though. Still, I'd be willing to get back in the server as soon as it is migrated.

I've finally upgraded to Win 10. I don't know too much about the technical side of Minecraft but I was able to find an older launcher for what seemed to be the original version of Minecraft. If that was indeed the case I should be able to play on either version regardless of the final decision. I do agree that it should be as inclusive as possible so it "sounds" like the Bedrock edition may be the way to go on this, but the final decision is of course up to Davido7. Hopefully I can join in with my fellow Vizzed members again soon.

I know a lot has changed since this was suggested but I was wondering if this was ever going to get done. I'd love to play on a server with people again but I hate joining servers where I don't know anyone. I'd rather play on one with Vizzed members.

Well, it seemed to get a fair bit of support from what I saw earlier.

I don't know if you'll ever keep everyone happy but I imagine the cross platform is more of a draw than anything else. I'd prefer to keep the old version because I'm used to it. Still, I think this is worth doing with the site gaining activity again.

The server is something we'll have to look back into this year yeah. I have no clue how Bedrock hosting works but if more people are for the idea then we should do it.
