New user shirobon03 takes first place in New User competition.

I last watched the Qualifying 4 & Quarter-finals of the Rallycross competition at Ireland last weekend, fourth round of the European Rallycross Championship. I've loved this championship even more when they decided to go live on Youtube so I can watch it anytime anywhere.

This was the fourth out of five videos of that weekend, four qualifying sessions and then semifinals and finals. Four categories are run in this championship, so each video lasts 90-120 minutes and therefore I have tons of entertainment. That's also why it's Wednesday and I'm not yet done watching the whole event xD

I decided to come here to post a bit before going to bed. I have pending in another tab a turn-based match at Board Game Arena with a friend of mine, if she pays me some attention we can continue but if not we'll continue with it for two weeks xD

Before coming here, I was testing top speeds in Gran Turismo PSP. For some reason I had never done that, and I discovered cars which thanks to slipstreaming reach incredible speeds. For example, a Ford GT which in real life claims a top speed of 205 mph I managed to put it at 255 mph and up to 230 without slipstreaming (reminder that cars can't be tuned there, what you buy is what you get). Now I wonder if I should test more hypercars or even race cars to see if they're designed with special gearing for slipstreaming.

Good thing I still keep track of my posting because I almost wasted post number 6,600 somewhere else xD

I'm now edging very close to quadruple 6, which is the only posting milestone I truly have in sight right now. No way I'm gonna get up there this month given how little is left for such an amount in my current pace, but I'll make it there soon.

I really like when games have a button during cutscenes that allow you view current relevant lore to the cutscene. Whether it's something simple as a glossary button for highlighted terms (fortunately I am starting to see this more and more in games I play), or an entire extra menu that lets you view entire pages of lore in order to make sure you're caught up to the story and don't feel like you're behind if you don't understand a cutscene upon first reading a sentence.

Final Fantasy XVI has a *fantastic* menu called "Active Time Lore" that does exactly this - if a faction / state / enemy is relevant to the current cutscene you're watching, you can pause the cutscene at any time and view the history, meaning, etc. of that object, just in case they're talking about something that you may have forgotten a detail or two about. It MASSIVELY helps that game as I'd say it's hard to keep track of names for the first third of the game, but using that menu will keep you fully caught up.

Evidently me and geeo are just having a "who can be a crappier genie" competition here.

Granted... I was thinking about it and realized adding an extra layer should help at least lower the level of friction that usually causes blisters, right? So, now all of your sandals have preinstalled socks on them! Different colors too - sorry, both whites were still in the wash.

I wish my fingernails would stop growing and would just simply stay at the exact preferred length that I like them at.

It's over 9000! Well okay this is 9000 exactly but close enough. I'm honestly shocked I've been able to push myself to hit this number. I can not believe I'm in the final stretch to my ultimate goal.

It's probably going to take another long time before I can hit the 10.000 mark. I'll try and put in a good shift next TdV I guess lol
