It's far from finished but it'll be ready for users to start using within the next few days. For the time being, you can test it out here: https://www.vizzed.com/platform-maker I'm not going to spend much time talking about it now but I just want to point out that it emulates the original Nintendo NES and Sega Master System (even the FM) soundchips perfectly. It also has a near perfect replication of the various game engines represented. Some graphics are off, some levels are messed up, and there are tons of other issues but I'll open up a separate thread for that later. For now, just enjoy

My friends and specially my girlfriend just don't seem to understand that my job has its months of peak activity that drain me physically and mentally. Due to having very specific due dates and with people not easily submitting their part, in most occasions I need to spend extra time at home advancing work, even on weekends. Yet, everyone wants me to spend some time out and such, not understanding I will have my chance when all of this is over. I would accept it if my due dates weren't stable, but the thing is they actually are stable. I always know when will these moments be several months before they come and I warn everyone with enough anticipation. But people still think I shouldn't be strapped to work, when all I do is attempt to fulfill the due dates imposed to me (not by superiors at my work, by the government who designs the tax calendar for all of us who work in this field). I'm the first one who would like to not be strapped to work this way in specific months or dates, but I can't help it. Every job has its flaws and mine has this one. If everyone could understand this and respect that I'm not forcefully strapping myself to work and deny my own social or private life, that'd be nice. Although not my mother, my mother-in-law went in for surgery back in April to remove a tumor on her intestines (and some of her intestines I think) and she died on the operating table. Hi guys, It’s been a while since I last posted. (Life has gotten in the way and has taken away time I had for posting.) I recently lost my mom and inherited the home we shared and that has taken the bulk of my time. I’m still writing about and covering Boxing, but it’s been a difficult year as I’m trying to adjust to everything that has happened. My mother passed from small cell lung cancer the day after christmas. I won’t get into it much because to be honest, I haven’t been able to really sit and grieve because of having to do what needed to be done in order to keep my home, but the short version was she was a heavy smoker for many years. She had asthma and gradually developed COPD where she was hooked to an oxygen machine 24/7 for several years. During the week before christmas after not really eating for the previous two weeks, she went to the hospital thinking she had a very bad case of bronchitis, seven days later she was gone. If you are a smoker, quit as quickly as possible. She had quit eight years before this happened and this cancer seemingly came out of nowhere where nothing could be done beyond trying to make her feel comfortable. She couldn’t talk, was on a ventilator, and because she had dried congestion in her lungs, caused by an infection, she couldn’t drink or eat anything and was being fed through a feeding tube. Believe me you do not want to go through what my mom did and you don’t want your family or anyone you love and care about to go through what I and my family did. It isn’t worth it. I will also pass along what I was told by our family doctor that when it comes to small cell cancer, three weeks is considered a long survival rate from the point of diagnosis so it’s not something to dismiss. What gives me comfort is knowing she didn’t suffer long and even though it pretty much killed whatever love I had left for holidays, I do want to pass along the experience to hopefully help someone who may still be smoking to stop while they still can where they may be able to avoid a similar outcome. Beyond all of that, I have been trying my best to adjust. I have my good and bad days. At least a few times a week I’ll play my PS5, usually play Undisputed and other sports games. I am grateful for the distraction because the last several months have been exhausting and have taken a toll on me physically. There was a time many years ago where coming to Vizzed was one of my highlights in between my writing duties and I’m looking to get back into visiting the board at least a few times a week. Anyway, I hope everyone is doing well, those who have been around since back in the day I hope are still around and will remember me and I look forward to meeting new folks as well.
