Maybe the views surpassed 2,147,483,647 views? Thought there was a thread discussing the views and what would happen if it passed that number and Davideo7 said it wouldn't reset at that number though. ![]() |

Ghostbear1111 : I whole heartedly agree with you, as Vizzed become to me exactly as you described it, and I moved on just as you are suggesting to MarioLucarioFan64. I still peek in and see how things are, but I've mostly just moved on to Reddit, Competitive Smash, and Discord servers. I don't regret leaving and being very inactive a single bit, but I do like seeing how the place I spent my young internet years is doing. ![]() |

Of course glitch pokemon aren't permitted to send through pokemon bank, they don't even work right in their own games, nor were they meant to. They aren't going to take a chance that it will work in a different game. (And as a side note: it probably helps avoid using glitch pokemon to gain some sort of privilege escalation, though that's pointless to have now). ![]() |

Davideo7 :
When I loaded a thread. this happened:
It even made the logo a bit wonky:
I don't know anything more about it then some profile/layout images loaded (but not all) and some text was black when it seemed it shouldn't have. It did it again after I posted in the thread too.
Whatever this was, I thought it looks good. If this was made into a forum wide optional theme I'd use it (especially if there was a dark version to go with it). Also to note, there was somethings you don't see (like the side bars) because I use element hiding with uBlock Origin, so I'm pretty sure they loaded, and they were hidden by uBlock Origin (same thing for all the ads). skrt-lord : Not everything needs a tutorial. Sometimes the best way to learn a program is to just poke around it and try everything out. Tutorials are a nice for more complex operations in more complex programs (like DAWs, CADs, Image Editors, etc.), but not necessary. ![]() |

Eniitan : The way I see it, single player can only last as long as there is something you haven't done 20 times yet, but multiplayer lasts as long as you have good and/or fun opponents to play against (or with), and considering the amount of people there are to play against (or with) in any multiplayer game, a game can easily last forever if it has good multiplayer. A good example is Mynamescox44: 's post. He has a total of 1700 hours between 4 single player games, and 1250 at least for a single game purely because of multiplayer, plus all the hours from other installments from the same franchise, which would nearly double that number. Smash 4 will last me, just look at all the people still playing Melee, despite there having been two installments since and there being another active scene for the current installment. I don't even want to know how many hours M2K has put into Melee alone.
*le writes post, then notices forgot to post it 20 minutes later* EDIT: As an afterthought, this is likely why so many people here have 1000+ hours clocked on Minecraft. *le writes post, then notices forgot to post it 20 minutes later* EDIT: As an afterthought, this is likely why so many people here have 1000+ hours clocked on Minecraft. ![]() |

I don't keep track of hours on anything, but Smash 4 definitely has to be getting up there on hours, especially 'cause it's been two years and I'm still to get bored of it. I don't expect to get bored of that as long as there's still local tournys to attend for it. I expect to end up playing few thousand hours or more of it in my life. I'd have to be at least about 1000 hours already on it. Other games I've wasted my life on and don't regret would be Cave Story (just getting Iron Bond and Booster v2.0 isn't enough, gotta do the whole game 3 HP Basic Weapons! There just isn't a shortage of things to do in Cave Story, and I'm still playing the FOSS release.), Klonoa: Door to Phantomile (great gameplay and story. Not much room for challenges like Cave Story, but it's great for another playthrough when bored), Minecraft (no explanation needed), Digimon Rumble Arena (pure nostalgia, I only recommend the music), and Sonic 2/the Sonic franchise as a whole. ![]() |

mastergame :
1. I found OBS very easy. However, I've only ever dealt with simpler streaming layout (capture card input for Smash gameplay, stream layout for cleanness, player tags and their current scores), so that make my input less insightful. I will concede that OBS may not have been easy or simple for you because OBS didn't suit your needs well. 2. I agree that watching videos in 144 decreases my enjoyment of videos, but I fail to see your point. Having the flexibility to run at any resolution gives the streamer more power over how they stream. For example, maybe 16:9 or 4:3 aspect ratios just doesn't do it for the streamer, and they would prefer a 20:5 aspect ratio instead. They have the ability to stream in 4000x1000 to keep both the high resolution everyone craves and the AR the streamer wants to stream in (likely to the torture of the viewer). Of course, you could use that flexibility to stream at 50x50 pixels, but who would actually do that (other than in defiance of my statement)? Also, do you even know what the "p" at the end of the resolutions even means? It refers to the display out standard called Progressive Scan, which is a very specific way to display an image on a screen, which has nothing to do with streaming a video through the internet. Those "p"s at the end of the resolution is not only not necessary in this context, its technically wrong. 3. Laptop, desktop, whats the difference? They're all computer all the same. I think what you meant to say is that OBS may have trouble streaming on a computer with a weak CPU or low RAM, which all I have to say is that this isn't exclusive to OBS, streaming is more intense on hardware than most other tasks, and compares to the strain of gaming. The best you can do is if you have poor specs on your computer, then to be nice to your computer and use faster encoding settings and a lower resolution when streaming (I have a 1.0 GHz CPU with 4GB RAM personally and stream with OBS perfectly fine using the fastest encoding setting and 16:9 480 resolution, or 852x480, streaming console gameplay using a capture card). 4. My argument was actually from the side that the creator of the commercial program could use your Twitch credentials maliciously, but I'll roll with it. Keeping with my OBS vs. commercial alternative, now assuming both get remotely taken over by a hacker who wishes to do harm to you, OBS would still be better, as the only thing that the hacker can get with an infected OBS is make you start streaming something other than what you were streaming, try to get you banned for streaming porn, or steal your stream key, which would let them stream right to your channel and cause conflicts with your stream. All you have to do is regain control of your OBS install (and protect yourself from future hacking) and reset your stream key. If you were using an alternative program that automatically sets up its stream key with your Twitch account information, then the hacker could gain access to your entire Twitch account and, if your Twitch account being breached wasn't bad enough if you had financial information on your account, possibly your email account used to setup the Twitch account if you are stupid enough to use the same password for both. I'd say OBS is on top there. As for the open source vs. closed source argument, the whole point of having source available (as far as a security stand point is concerned), is that even with the hacker having every last piece of information they could ever want about the program they are trying to exploit, they still can't (when it works, anyway). It's like if you have a castle and give your enemy nations the exact blue prints and security details, such as patrol routes and staff on hand at any given time, of your whole castle, if they can't invade your castle with all that information, then your castle is impenetrable. If they can invade it, then your blue prints and/or security details need to be changed to improve your security. With closed source software, you are relying on security through obfuscation, or, to compare it to a castle again, you hope that you won't get invaded because your enemies don't know the full blue prints of the castle or its security details, but they could still learn enough about the castle through spying to be able to find a way to invade, and you would get invaded. Providing source code just makes this faster. The source code makes the exploit easier to find so that it is found and patch faster. Also, why are we even mentioning hacking when arguing over the quality and usefulness of a streaming program? Seems to be beside the point to me. 5. Well, with that kind of attitude we will be stuck with an OBS that never gets any better. All it takes for OBS to get better is for someone to make a bug fix for it or add another feature and add it the it's github page, though, I'm pretty sure you already knew that. As for the "contradictory" statement, I was just trying to pull your leg. I get what you mean. I love FOSS and everything but here I am, running Windows 7 out of pure convenience. EDIT: Weighing in at 921 words, this is officially my longest post ever, anywhere. It even netted me 1391 Viz. I feel like a champion now. Well, until mastergame replies again anyway. 1. TheFadedWarrior : Please refer to the thread title, this definition of a pun, and this definition of s***posting.
In other words: No, I didn't read the thread XD. Hardly matters though, Trump is officially President-elect. If you were previously biased against Trump, best thing to do is to try to clear yourself of that bias and give him 100 days of office to see if he fails epicly or not. If you'd still like a legitimate response though, I'd prefer Trump over Hillary simply because Hillary isn't trustworthy to me, not only because of the private email server scandal (though that certainly put it beyond a doubt), but simply because I don't find much trust or confidence in a politician that does the usual "Politically Correct Politician" approach. It gives off the vibe to me that not only are they getting nothing useful done (a bad enough charge as is), but it feels like they're involved in some shady business with the way it seems like they are always avoiding questions. Trump, on the other hand, is straight forward in his approach. He answers the damn question with an actual response! He speaks his mind and makes me feel confident I know exactly how he stands on an issue, which is something I can get behind. He (as a politician, to avoid the counter-argument of his tax return) is clear, open, and honest with his opinion and for that I find him trustworthy. It also helps that I agree with Trumps stance and policies on issues more so than Hillary's. In other words: No, I didn't read the thread XD. It also helps that I agree with Trumps stance and policies on issues more so than Hillary's. ![]() |
