I am very curious to see whether you users believe in the phenomenon. I feel that this issue has underplayed in our society for ages, with pagan rituals being one of the sources of the theory.

I myself am a paranormalist and I personally believe in some aspects of the supernatural. Others, such as scary stories originating from the web or modern rituals tend to be a bit more unrealistic.

So what do you think? I'm interested to see what you think about this.

I assume by supernatural you mean ghosts. I am a Christian so based on my understanding of the Bible and my faith I do not believe in ghosts. Now I do believe that angels can appear as that is Biblical. I believe people can have visions. But as for ghost in general no. Now I know some people who do and I do not judge them. Some people even ghost hunt as a hobby. I have never understood that but they are into it. Anyway this is my opinion on this subject

No, I do not believe in the supernatural outside of fiction- As what we perceive as supernatural is merely part of a natural environment we do not fully understand yet. However, I do not believe all supernatural things to be true.

I guess it depends on how you define supernatural. I do believe there are things we can't currently explain that would fit into that category but I think in time we could find an explanation for those things. The universe has a set of laws that govern it and everything can be explained by those laws. We may not know or understand them all but I believe they exist and can be used to explain anything we see or hear or experience.

I'm pretty open-minded, but it's important to draw the line somewhere.
Ghosts aren't real, but it's glammed up so people have their grief exploited by mediums that claim to speak to the dead.
Or destiny, starsigns, or vague spiritual advice instead of being grounded in reality.

Don't you think that the origin of how these stories came about can be very interesting, however? Most of these perceived characters are portrayed as fiction in our current times though beamed through folk sure and other parts of our culture.

The question I'm proposing here is, do you think there is any truthfulness in the paranormal given the belief we have had for a steady amount of years?

While there are things out there that can't be explained as of yet, it all boils down to how open minded we are and what we define as supernatural.

Supernatural events are defined as events that cannot be explained by current laws of nature (e.g. ghosts, spirits, and other non material things). With that being said, I do believe there are events out there that cannot be explained through current means, but are definitely real. I am a pretty open minded person, so I do believe that there are events that occur inexplicably and without definitive proof. Perhaps with the continued advancement of technology, we will be able to attain definitive proof of these "supernatural occurrences"
