I like Raichu better because of its superior stats and move set. I also like Raichu better then the rest listed here because it is just a stronger electric type Pokemon.

I have a lot to say about pichu and how bad he is all his move are bad. All he knows is charm and it barley works. And tackle which is a vary weak. it takes a long time for it to evolve.It has 40 hp and knows 2 moves and why did they make pichu hard to find he is rare basically. Know i'm going to say why pechu is good. The first thing is that pichu is so chute which is lame. I think pechu can learn a lightning move or maybe not.

I know everybody loves pikachu and he is perfect but no.it is stupid he is vary hard to make him evolve a lightning stone really how are you going to get that (i know don't tell me).  he has low hp too. that is all of the bad thing now i will tell you the good things. pikachu is powerful with lighning moves he can zap a lot of things.he looks cool and that is a lame way for liking him. he can learn a lot of moves.



raichu
raichu is fat.riachu learns 2 moves or more. and he does look cool. well richu has both of pichu and pikachus personalities. raichu is one of the hardest pokemon to get you can't get them in the wild and you can' get them from a trainer. 

I think raichu is the best, everybody likes pikachu don't know why (maybe he is on the show pokemon)

Raichu because I think it looks the best and for the better stats. (Although I'm aware you can give a light ball to pikachu but that makes it so you cant give it any other items).

well i really dont kno but pikachu is all right but i dont really kno about raichu cause i never evolved him before but please tell me if its really worth evolving pikachu

You should evolve pikachu when it learns thunderbolt unless you already have the Tm.
It learns thunderbolt at level 26 in gen1-gen4 and 29 in Gen 5.
Imma compare light ball pikachu with raichu.

Pros of using light ball pikachu:
-It has 110 attack and 100 special attack compared to raichu's 90 attack and 90 special attack.
-The satisfying feeling you get of when you can pull of a sweep with this guy.
-You get all the level up moves though theres isn't anything to useful after thunderbolt (And most of them can be learned through tm).


Pros of using Raichu:
-Since it doesn't have light ball that means it can use another item like leftovers,life orb etc
-It has substantially higher defense(55) and sp def.(80) (Pikachu having 30 and 55 def and sp.def respectively).
Of course its not exactly a tank but it means it can actually take a hit.
-Higher hp (Pikachu having 35 and raichu having 60)
-Has slightly higher speed (100 compared to pikachus 90). Though pikachu is supposed to be faster then raichu in the anime which makes this kinda weird oh well.
-It has access to some few tms pikachu doesn't focus Blast most notably. (Granted its not a huge pro but its something and can help against ground types which are part steel or rock).

I have to go with pikachu because that was the first Pokémon I ever caught... er, got from professor Oak in Pokémon yellow. I had some good times back then and since I haven't even caught a pichu cause its not even worth my time and my pikachu back then didn't want to evolve into riachu I have to say pikachu is my favorite... Ironically enough, I nicknamed my pikachu pika like in the manga

in general I'd prefer raichu, Raichu is better for attack and stats like mentioned in other post in this thread, and plus in general I just like raichu more than pika.

I like Raichu the best because of it's design. I like how it's ears look and it's whip-like tail with a lightning bolt at the end. For some reason I also liked how it sounded in the games and anime. What I didn't like is how it was often portrayed as a "bully" in the anime, was it simply because it was bigger or was it to give a sort of rival to Pikachu, who knows.

So let's start off with Pikachu. Well it's in almost every Pokemon Episode, and It has It's own game Pokemon Yellow. All pretty cool but why is Pikachu so famous, Yes it was the only Pokemon left at the lab and Ash took him anyway and bla, bla ,bla! No seriously out of all the cool Pokemon the creators could of choose, they choose an electric mouse. It's not like it's a cute mouse anyway, well it is in appearance, But he electrocutes Ash Through out the first episode, and I think the second. I don't know I'm not  a big Pokemon fan myself but I did enjoy Red/Blue and Gold/Silver.

The other two mess with your head, I mean you need a stone to evolve Pikachu to get Richu and Pichu just makes not sense does it? Well since Pichu is a troll and came out 2 generations after Pikachu and yet Pichu is meant to be the unevolved baby of Pikachu. Just makes no sense and yeah I kinda like it.

i rally like raichu but pikachu is good too but i beat the elite four easier with raichu but with pikachu it was difficult and i dont know about pichu cuz i have never caught one
