Vizzed not letting the backslash show up in posts?

I tried to post something with a backslash, but the backslashes disappear in the final post. Link to post. Just looking to confirm: Does Vizzed allow the character to show up? \\ C:Program FilesVizzed

Seems like if its one long word, the backslash doesn't appear for some reason. :

You are correct, backslashes will be removed from posts by Vizzed's site-security (they don't have anything better to do) but the forward slashes are permitted.


There are sometimes where I need to post a backslash for file directories so I use -> as an indicator.

The site does not agree with backlashes at all and it's probably a good idea to avoid them if you can. I actually got locked out of my account once after changing my password because I wasn't aware they weren't a safe character. lol
