Hey, vizzed members! Welcome to Pac’s Story Archives. This series is where I post stories I made many years ago that have been sitting in a binder. I figured some of you guys would think it’s cool to see where my creativity and story-creation ability was at a young age. Don’t expect anything amazing though! XD

This first part features another short story I made, featuring 2 characters: Joe and Bob. They like skating and that’s all the characterization I can really pull from this so far. I plan on re-creating these stories later, but for now I’d like to post the originals. Now you can say you’re about to read stories made by an 8 or 9 year old! Enjoy!

By the way, I posted the first 2 stories from this short-story series in November 2015 (I looked through my threads page) and I commentated them as I read, but I’m not going to do that this time. I’ll just say a few things after the story is done to reflect on it. I don’t think my commentary would be very original anyways.

-TRANSITION-

Joe and Bob in:

“Sk8ting in the Streets+ More Mayhem”

One day, Joe and Bob wanted to get out of the house again; Mom and Dad weren’t home. The brothers looked at their list of adventures to try. They chose to skate in the streets. It may not have been the Fourth of July, but they liked the idea. They got their skateboards, some food, and they were ready to go. (Just so you know, the reason they got food is because they decided to eat while skating.)

Joe and Bob starting skating all over the street while stuffing lots of food in their mouths. They were having the time of their life when all of a sudden, a car approached the two of them. They didn’t want to get out of the street, so they jumped onto the top of the car. They regretted that decision later on that day.

They couldn’t get off the car without hurting themselves; they had left their skateboards at their house, and now they were lost. All of a sudden, they opened the trunk of the car. They found skateboards in there just like theirs. Joe and Bob then grabbed the skateboards and dove into the trunk. (They were inside the trunk with the skateboards.) A ½ hour later, the car stopped. Joe and Bob’s hearts were racing. Sure enough, the driver dude (LOL) opened the trunk and found the boys laying in there. “WHAT are you doing in my car?!!” he asked. Joe and Bob stayed silent. All of a sudden, Joe checked his watch. It said 12:30. Mom and Dad were home!

“We need to get back home,” Joe said at last.

“Do you know where we live?” Bob asked.

“I don’t believe I do,” the driver dude asked. Suddenly, Joe’s phone rang. He answered it. It was Mom.

“Where are you boys? In trouble, obviously!” she yelled.

“W-w-we’re in the m-m-middle of n-n-nowhere,” Joe struggled to say. “H-h-here, ya wanna talk to Bob?” Joe asked.

“Most definitely,” Mom replied.

The next day, Joe and Bob were back home, grounded. They were watching TV. Though Mom and Dad weren’t home, they had hired a baby-sitter to watch over the boys. Joe and Bob sat there and watched TV for the next week, then they weren’t grounded. Mom and Dad weren’t home. There was no baby-sitter. Then they looked over their list of adventures.

THE END.

-REFLECTION-

Wow, that was funny. Clearly I didn’t always use the phrase “all of a sudden” correctly. That made it way better to read XD These guys are horrible influences. Eating while skating? Dudes.

Did no one care that Joe and Bob were on top of a car for so long? How did the driver not notice his trunk open or Joe and Bob DIVING into it?

Apparently I thought having 2 words starting with the letter D was hilarious because I put (LOL).

The best lines in the story-

1.“Joe and Bob stayed silent. All of a sudden, Joe checked his watch.”

2. “Do you know where we live?” Bob asked.

And finally…

3. “The next day, Joe and Bob were back home, grounded. They were watching TV.
