So I just joined this site and was playing Snatchers on the Sega CD Rom. It was really fun and sweet until I got to the last level. There I encountered some seriously obnoxious problems. First off, it wouldn't let me create a save state even with the fn-f2 command. I mean I HAD  a save state in the game itself through the sega cd save but I wanted to actually be able to emulator save so I didn't have to keep on fighting those robots again (hard level yo). So I would keep on beating the splicers or whatever they're called and then getting killed by the Snatchers and having to replay the whole thing.

Secondly, there was this really obnoxious lag time that kept on getting me killed so I closed out of everything else, that didn't help so I reset the system and that didn't help either so I restarted my computer. NOW I CAN'T EVEN PLAY THE GAME! The rom loads but now the controls won't work. When I hit enter to load my profile it reboots the rom. I think this might have been because I plugged my ps4 controller into the laptop and remapped the buttons to the controller but I took it out and reconfigured it back to the keyboard but it won't like work now and it SUCKS. So for the last hour I've been stuck in an endless cycle of reloading the game hoping its going to work and each time it just stays on the main screen, reboots itself or says I don't have a memory cd thing or whatever Sega CD took for memory. Need Help.

I'm not very good with the technical stuff going on in the RGR, so I can't really directly help you with your issue, but I'm gonna move this thread to another forum, where you might get a more helpful answer.
