Hello! I recently joined the site and when I was looking on the ' your profile ' page, it noted how much exp the account has and what level it is. I tried clicking on it but it won't explain how to get the exp. Can anyone please help?

The EXP is easy to earn, just post on the forum, be active and you'll level up a lot easier!

If you need a more detailed explanation... Well, i guess the mods can help you. But as far as i know, there is no public explanation of the EXP. You could say it just happens.

As far as I know, most EXP comes from word and character count in your posts in the forum. The lengthier your posts, the more experience you get.

This system sounds like it can be abused, but we have things in place to punish people who spam words instead of genuinely take the time to write them.

So in short, posting generates EXP and raises your level. However, level doesn't have much impact and doesn't really gain us anything, so I wouldn't worry too much about it.

Anyways, have fun in the forums, hope to see you become an upstanding member of Vizzed

The two users above me already answered this so I won't repeat them, but I will add one thing to their explanations: You always gain exp. but it's a painfully slow process if you don't post. Posting is the way to gain it quickly, and yes each word you post adds to your exp. Sadly exp. doesn't do anything right now, but it is a neat way of tracking your activity and such on the site.
