i'm really really REALLY excited, and i'm in a really good mood. i love traveling so much. i love everything about it: the airport, the plane, basically everything except waiting in line, but i'm lebanese so i can just push through people when necessary (not really).
on top of things, my exam results are out and i'm pretty happy with them. it's kind of funny because the only two i thought i might have failed were actually the ones i did better on (chemistry and physics). physics is what surprised me the most, though. it was actually my highest grade, and it boosted my average a lot cause i got a 96 on it. even now i keep wondering if they made a mistake cause like?? in my mind i'm always bad at physics?? i think it actually IS my worst subject. anyway, my final average for the whole year was 86 point something i forgot. i'm happy with it but next year i hope to raise it up to what i usually get, and i think i'll have a better chance of scoring higher because i'm taking way more classes that i actually like, so i'll probably do way better. also i won't be intimidated/nervous anymore because i'm used to high school now. i have a strong feeling that eleventh grade is gonna be the new seventh grade for me. and by that i mean it's gonna be good, cause seventh grade was definitely my best year by far, and for the same reason: it was my second year of middle school, so i was used to the new system by then and basically on top of things. i think it's gonna be the same this time but with high school.
anyway i'm also happy because i finally got my first phone yay. i didn't care that much about getting one until this year, because of that new rule that we can't bring laptops on planes. we're definitely not putting it in the luggage because have you seen how they throw that stuff around? i'm glad i get to bring a phone with me because then it'd sort of be like having my laptop with me. i'd still be able to talk to my friends and stuff. the biggest bummer is that i probably won't be able to make much progress on my animations this summer. i was really hoping to, since i haven't been really productive hobby-wise this year. i kept telling myself i'd get around to some big projects during the summer when i wasn't stressed out by school, but it doesn't look like i'll be animating much now. not too upset about it though, i'll probably focus more on writing and drawing instead. and y'know, going outside. i dunno how often i'm gonna be on vizzed, but it's not gonna be never lol.
for the last few days i've been busy packing and setting up that new phone, and spending some time with family, but i'm practically done now and just really excited to go to canada. the plan is to fly to london first, where we'll be staying in a hotel for the night, and then we're flying to canada. i'm staying there until september 9. i'm really, really lucky, because i basically get to do this every year. it's really great. i think it's my favorite place to be, to be honest. getting there is probably gonna be the most exciting part, though. i can't wait to set up my fort on the plane. setting up my fort means getting comfy with the blanket and pillow while watching a movie or playing a game and eating something. sometimes that gets boring but this time it won't be a problem because i'm bringing a book. happy summer, guys!!!!!!!
