Rocket League coming to Nintendo Switch, Cross-Platform play included

Nintendo definitely hit it out of the ballpark today at E3, but one of the more interesting bits of news came in the form of Pysonix's smash hit Rocket League finally coming to a Nintendo console. More specifically, the Nintendo Switch. The Switch version will have exclusive customization items, battle cars, and will allow cross-platform play with Xbox-One and Steam players. (the PS4 version on the other hand doesn't support cross-platform play)

I've been interested in this game for a long time, but I didn't have any interest in buying it for any of the systems it's currently available on. Now that the Switch is included, I finally have the perfect excuse to buy it.

That is great news! I was really excited to see Rocket League coming to the Switch. Maybe this way I can actually play the game without lag and random framerate drops.

I really enjoyed playing Rocket League on PC last summer and really played it a lot. Although I haven't been playing it as much these days.

I'm not sure if I will get it on Switch yet, just because there are SO MANY GAMES I already have on my list to buy after all the E3 announcements/reveals/etc but it's great to see some really cool 3rd party titles coming for the console so Nintendo haters can stop complaining.
