Back in July 2016, Sonic Forces was revealed along with Sonic Mania under the name Project Sonic 2017. Since then, a lot of things have been revealed to us, such as the custom character option. Now that E3 is here, a lot more was revealed, and a new trailer was uploaded to Youtube which has several surprises.
Some of the things in this trailer have already been revealed to us, but there's a lot of new stuff as well. During the E3 Pre-Show, more gameplay was shown. It was shown that various characters from throughout the Sonic series will talk to you as you make your way through the levels, making it feel more like you are really part of a team. Some bosses were also shown in this trailer, such as Egg Dragoon fighting Classic Sonic as well as a revamped version of the first boss from Sonic 1. However, the most interesting thing is the end of the trailer. It shows the 3 player characters beaten, and on a piece of rubble in front of them, a familiar shoe appears on screen. That's right, Shadow the Hedgehog finally has something to do with the story again. That's not all, though. Next to him are Metal Sonic, Chaos, and even Zavok. You would think this would be it, but no. Floating above all of these characters is a new character, who seems like the main antagonist of the game. I am so in love with this game already because of all of this information. What are your thoughts on Sonic Forces and who do you think this mysterious new character is?
