These days I mostly use Youtube and Spotify to get my music. I do own a few songs on Amazon music and Itunes as well though.

One one hand, a vinyl recording, if recorded properly, will always be a little more true to the "real sound" than a digital recording. On the other hand, vinyl recordings wear over time and dust, oil, and dirt will deteriorate the quality. 

I mostly buy vinyl because my dad gave me his record player and collection, so I thought I'd make use of it and start adding to the collection. Purchasing an actual album is rare for me (because I use Google Play Music), so when I do, it's a "big" purchase, so I don't mind getting something that takes up some room.

I mostly use YouTube to watch music videos. If I want to listen to them in the car then, I play it on YouTube or just use one of those free sites to convert the video into song. I also use Alexa a lot to play Prime music and Pandora as well. I don't own CD's at all much less cassettes lol.

If I REALLY love the artist however, I will buy the full albums and add them to a separate library. 

I used to feel bad about it but for the amount of music and different genres I listen too, i'd be spending more than I earn a week just buying music.
