Under the Market Store tab, there is a button called Physical Items, which boasts that you can buy real items. Unfortunately, it´s greyed out and can´t be clicked on, and it felt like years since I first saw the button.

It made me quite curious: Can we really spend our Viz on real items like a console, cabinet, or a physical boxed copy of a game? It sounds beyond excellent, but I haven´t heard anyone talking about this. When will we hear more about Physical Items in the Vizzed market?

It's something that David intends to do sometime in the future. It's going to take a while for him to get it up and running because of everything that needs to be worked out in advance, and that's assuming he manages to find enough time to work on that big of a project. I get the feeling that, once it's finished, it'll be something along the lines of Amazon, which would be really awesome. I'm hoping things won't be limited to just Viz and will include other payment methods like PayPal and Bitcoin, but again, when we start talking about real money, things get complicated with security.

Sounds really ambitious and would take a lot of work to iron out properly to make sure everyone safely gets their items and their money. I wouldn't be surprised if the idea is scrapped or just never gets done and the button remains there.

Don't get your hopes up, but don't lose the ones you have either. No one can tell how it'll go, this is just how I see it is all.
