Random Screenshot Sharing Thread

Share screenshots because why not?

I have a certain obsession with taking screenshots while playing games -- my 3,337 screenshots of Sword Art Online: Lost Song alone can attest to that.
Aside from those 3,337 SAO: Lost Song screenshots on my PS Vita, I also have roughly 450 screenshots of Amnesia: Memories, 134 Nihilumbra screenshots, and 204 screenshots of all other games and scenes combined.
Meanwhile on my PS4 I have around 1,250 screenshots (and 137 videos) AFTER I erased a ton of them to make room for more games, and exported a few to external storage.
And don't ask about the number of screenshots on my computer, current phone, and the three phones I had before that.

Yes, I have a problem. :| I have a problem, and I'm asking you folks to help me with it. No, this is not asking for help quitting (why on Earth would I want to do that??), it's asking for help finding more screenshots! :3

So the idea of this thread is simple: feed my need for screenshots Post random screenshots you've taken while playing any game. Maybe they're funny, cool, pictures of pretty sceenery, or just completely random. As long as they aren't M rated or inappropriate, share away! Oh and if your screenshot contains spoilers, be sure to warn us beforehand.

I'll start with this one from Uncharted 4 (contains two minor spoilerish details) :

While looking for some nice english translations I came across Cocoron on the NES. And when I did, I really didn't expect to see a mountain of skulls outside an area known as "Trump Castle". Current events, am I right?

Ahhh If you're considered obsessed, then what would I be? DX I take screenshots of every curiosity and everything I find interesting (with my cameras in real life too), so I even took screenshots like these:

I take pictures of anything/anyone I really like...

Things I find cute (probably only cute to me though)...

Hilarious or game-breaking glitches and events that I found particularly interesting...

and...

Yes, the weird stuff. ^^0;; That also includes...

Yes, I half-drowned myself trying to get this pic. oO;;

For games, there are times when I see a specific screenshot that I'd like to get and I'll literally replay something several times just to be able to catch the one second something appears. If it requires several shots for me to get it right, so be it. After that though, comes the sorting process, and that's when I sometimes think that maybe I shouldn't have been so Print-Screen-happy... ^^0;;

Anyways, it really makes me happy when people are willing to view my screenshots.  I love you all!  =)

Oh... And I never delete screenshots (except for the blank or blurry ones that obviously failed), so I'm constantly trying to acquire more file space... ^^0;;

yoshirulez! : Being a Trump supporter, I'll choose to take that in a positive way. It is pretty hilarious how that happened though.

Yuna1000 : Were those first two games Teraria (misspelled, I'm sure) and...Borderlands, maybe? Also yes, I am afraid of bugs. D: lol

As for screenshots: Being 'm on, fellow screenshot addict!

Davideo7 : Man, that's impressive. You seem to have a knack for building things like that...also A love for Mario Kart. lol

UnholyArceus : What the heck??? xD

My turn!

Felt bad for fighting them. It was what...12 to 1? They never stood a chance.

GCPD helicopters offering a free ride...well I mean they didn't exactly offer, but whatever.

I can't decide if that's funny or creepy. Glitches ftw!

Batman: Arkham Knight. Awesome game.

Oh, sorry! D= I'll try to post something else that's hopefully more pleasant (and that hopefully you won't fear).  Would you by any chance... happen to be afraid of cakes? D=

As for the screenshots in my first post, the first game was Starbound, the second one was Devil's Bluff and the third one was (yep!) from Borderlands. lol

Eirinn :
To answer your question, that game is called Starbound. I've never actually played it, but from what I've seen, it's like a Terraria clone with a few differences to make it its own game ( like you can explore multiple planets that are all different, since it's set in space ).

Oh, and I guess I should share a screen shot while I'm here, right? lol. This is a glimpse into my life at home, and I don't mean the raising Pokémon part ha ha.

Eirinn : Sorry for the sandwich post, but this is something I thought I should mention to you before you get the wrong idea! D=

Mynamescox44 : oO;; Er... Actually, Starbound is very different from Terraria... (depending on how you play the games, it's like 80 to 90% different!). Only the "building/constructing in new worlds" part is sort of the same. In Terraria, one can fight bosses, explore and build stuff on different maps (which would be the servers), and create whatever you can imagine using the items you find in the treasure chests by exploring the entire map, but unlike Starbound, you can't travel to multiple worlds (without changing servers), get hungry in-game (there's a mode to turn hunger on or off to make it easier to play the game, and I would recommend new players start off without hunger mode on), kill the NPCs to get them to hate you so that you can never return to that world again without being shot at by those NPCs (yes, it's scary but they really will remember you O _ O ), or fight enemies that almost always look different thanks to the method that's used to generate each creature and being in-game. Terraria also doesn't have "classes" like Starbound does although you can put on and wear different armors you collect, and clothing/outfits and costumes (that you can acquire as part of an event during Halloween) to achieve a similar effect, and there isn't much of a backstory to Terraria (it just gives you a basic weapon and tells you how to start crafting items and then leaves you out to die in the pitch black darkness of the night on the first day). Most new people that walk into their Terraria server for the very first time will usually receive a terrible, brutal/gruesome death or just die another way (like accidentally drowning themselves while running away from a mob to "sleep with the fishes") on the first day because they don't know how dangerous the enemies truly are at night, and if they can't find shelter or get away from the creatures, they'll be shredded several times long before dawn finally breaks to save them from the most nightmarish night they'll probably remember for the remainder of the game. Then, to add salt to the wounds, when the sun rises, the players will usually find themselves surrounded by various markers and tombstones with inscriptions bearing their names and the causes of their deaths, and some will start killing all of the harmless animals and bunnies in sight because they think all of the bunnies are still vampiric even though the event that "turned" the bunnies had long since ended. T_T

Starbound, on the other hand, is a lot more friendly (since the official release anyways) in that it sends you through a relatively short but lovely tutorial/introduction (it has cherry blossoms!  ) to instruct you on how to walk, talk, sit, crouch, fight, etc., all while you're carefully making your way through the backstory, and then when the game begins, you'll have a general understanding of how to play Starbound, what its title is even referring to, and (hopefully) a sense of purpose now that you understand how the "tutorial" relates to the main reason why you're going to be traveling alone in a spaceship to wander the galaxy for the rest of your time in the game.... well, until you find a buddy to play with you in multiplayer mode.

Like Terraria, the music for Starbound is also wonderful, but unlike Terraria, one is able to select certain songs that they would like to play/hear in the game. One of my favorite aspects of Starbound is being able to play different songs using the instruments that one can find in treasure chests in the game, and recently, I've been trying to get my Starbound to import and work with some custom music again. This is something that I haven't really seen in Terraria, and the ability to import your own songs into Starbound makes Starbound the better game in terms of instruments for me.

Below is a screenshot of a dear friend playing an instrument when they went to visit my ship in Starbound. =) (Actually, if you recall my post from above with the alpaca, I was also holding an instrument and serenading the alpaca NPC, but that was probably not very obvious to the casual observer... lol)

Make no mistake though, I love Terraria as well, but to me, it's a completely different game so I can't even think of the two games in the same way. lol I can go on and on about Starbound, but you really have to try the game to understand why Starbound isn't as limited as Terraria in terms of gameplay (although the combat system is admittedly, a bit lacking compared to some other games, but since I mainly play Starbound and Terraria to go on quests and build stuff, that doesn't really matter as much to me ^^0 ).

Below is a screenshot of my character from Starbound chilling with a few NPCs from a Floran village (they're more or less living/moving plants or flowers, which is the race I chose =P ). For this village, if you steal items from them or attack them and kill one of them, they will literally freak out and start running away to find their village guards, and those  NPC guards with guns and weapons will rush at you to defeat you. oO;; That scenario is not something I've seen in Terraria yet... lol

MarioLucarioFan64 : I'm pretty sure this thread is for screenshots taken in video games and not screenshots taken in real life. I could be wrong though.

Eirinn : I thought that was Nathan Fillion at first. Seriously, why don't they get him to play Nathan Drake in the movie?

Mynamescox44 : Oh gosh! xD Well then, that's a lovely image. Also I somehow don't remember that moment in Pokémon. Must be the unedited version. You know those 4Kids censors after all.

Yuna1000 : Oh okay, I see. Oh and no bugs this time! Yay! xD jk of course. For some reason I love bug games apparently (Earth Defense Force is one of my most wanted games after all). You can keep any real life bugs though.

Davideo7 : Gotta be honest: I had no idea who that was, so I had to Google him. lol I could almost see that, surprisingly enough.

UnholyArceus : First off: what the heck IS that thing?? xD And size isn't too important. If you can resize them first, that's great, but not too important since not everyone here is doing so.

Now for more screenshots.

Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor - Game of The Year Edition. No spoilers, but one image with some violent imagery. Nothing too bad though. I'd say the worst one is T rated, but it might push the boundary a bit.

Not sure if this sword is something to do with the lore of the Lord of The Rings stories, but I don't want to run into whoever was wielding that thing!

My herd of Caragor and I. I have four tamed at once here, but you can only see three in the picture. I have no idea why I kept taming them, unless it was just curiousity, wanting to see how many I could get at once. I probably should have just tamed one or two and had them attack the rest, but that would be too simple. Besides, they remind me of cats...only extremely ugly, creepy, and not loveable at all.

Me slinking around in stealth, terrorizing the Uruk by shooting down Morgai Fly nests on them. Too much fun. xD I have to admit, I really love scaring the ever loving Fufu berries out of these guys. So much fun. That and tricking and killing them. :3

Now for the borderline M one...

Me dropping down from an insane height and landing snack on top of an Uruk, stabbing him through the head with my broken sword of a dagger when I landed on him. You can't actually see it, but you can tell by the blood and the placement of the ranger's hands what's going on.

I've been looking through my screenshots which I have on my tablet, and they're mainly from the online CaH games I play. Although I do have some BlazBlue RR screencaps, including where I use Makoto, who is my main on that game, to pull off her Astral Finish - which is the only one which is different to her usual Astral.

Edit: Urg, it's not cooperating like I want it to. I'll have to post the links then:

Time to revive this thread lol.

This is my community set up in my main Expert Mode world on Terraria. My place is the floating castle on the left (with me and my pet Dino chilling on top), and then everyone else lives in the building next to mine. The one on the right is a walking, talking mushroom guy who requires you to build a small mushroom biome before he shows up, so that's why his house is so unique. You can also see my Minecart track running across the top, which spans the entire map in the sky for fast travelling anywhere I need to go.

I'm not quite done with laying out all the Trophies and decorating I plan to do (my roof looks weird 'cause I had to expand the building for more room lol), but I thought it was finally worthy of posting here. By no means am I a master builder or anything, but I hope you can at least appreciate the practicality of it all XD

And the mission is... Oh my! So many adorable plushies!

Someday, I'm going to try one of those Smiley drinks. =)

My teammates probably won't mind if I step inside for just a little while... ^^0;;

This ramen is shockingly realistic. D=
