A while back I remember the trailers for Mission Impossible Rouge Nation, and there were these specials on how Cruise loves to do his own stunts and that they need to be incredibly dangerous.

In the first scene of that movie Cruise's character hangs from the side of a plane, but guess what? They actually filmed that and had him strapped to the side of a real plane while it flew around.

I thought that was just amazing, but then he decided to take things to the next level.

I'm really psyched for his role in the new Mummy remake and the trailer begins with none other than a plane crash. It turns out, that they actually filmed that scene the way it unfolded, with no harnesses or anything in a zero gravity plane miles above the ground.

There are people that spend their entire lives trying to do the most "crazy" or "impossible" things, just to see how far they could get before their luck runs out, so do you suppose that's what he's trying to accomplish?
