Who is your favorite X-Man? The Marvel Universe has given birth to dozens of mutants. Their powers are all so unique, and epic in their own way. It can be hard to pick a favorite, when there are so many great candidates to choose from. Dead Pool counts since he is kind of the Lone Ranger of the X-Men. You can pick a villain or a hero.

My favorite X-Man is Cyclops. He may be a generic one to choose, but I have always like him the best. Just the thought of being able to cut through something by removing your glasses, is pretty astonishing. I like that he is a leader and can keep a level head in bad situations. I've heard that he goes insane and turns evil or something, but that doesn't change my stance at all. So yeah.

Now it's your turn. Who's your favorite mutant? And why?

TheBWoods15 :   My favourite X-Man is definitely Havok. Scott Summers' younger brother Alexander. His powers are similar to Scott's and he needs a protective suit to control it not on his eyes but rather his whole form. Havok is more powerful than Scott by far. Were he to unleash his energy, the world would be imperiled. Despite sinister influences, Havok got to be a good guy for a long time. He was a great X-Man.

My favourite X-Woman is none other than the only White Queen worthy of mention, Emma Frost. Something about the way she dresses tells us that her subtle power gives her the confidence few ever achieve. No one ever questions what she wears because she can mentally inhibit them from doing so before any cognition of the critique actually occurs. Not just mutant rights but female empowerment charges up this high-octane character.

Lads, the more confident women all over the world become, the sexier it gets. So promote female empowerment whenever you can.

I am surprised no one put Wolverine (classic Wolverine, not the X-23 version) as their favorite.

One of my favorites is Wolverine. He is tough, resilient, has a bad attitude towards those that hurt people for fun,but he is also good person underneath all the anger. Plus,he is always armed. When you hear that SNIKT! sound, you are screwed. Cripes,if you had half the things that happened to Wolverine happen to you,you would definitely have a few screws loose and some baggage. But he carries it well.

As for the favorite bad guy,I go with Magneto. He is insanely powerful and the world around him is his weapon. But he is not just out for blood,he wants his kind (mutants) to have a safe haven away from humans. He knows mutants and humans cannot coexist. Hell,we cannot tolerate each other over things we have no control over like our genetics

Currently... I'd have to go with Legion. He is virtually infinitely powerful... Biggest problem is, he can't control all of it. He has an undisclosed amount of personalities that give him power. He is Charles' son, and he can teleport, control minds, adapt to any situation, etc.... The list just goes on and on. His issue, he can't really control which personality takes control.

Gambit is my favorite. The card sharp and self-avowed ladies man. Kinetic conversion, his power to charge inanimate objects and use them as explosive projectiles has always intrigued me. Talk about unlimited ammo.

Second would be Forge. I liked how his mutant power was over technology and inventing.

Third is Mystique. The evil, chew my nails to the quick, beauty as portrayed by Rebecca Romijn. The reason is obvious.

If I may post again.

I also would say Rogue. Now,yes, she was originally a villain. But she changed her ways and is willing to use her gifts to help the world. Now think about it,she is doomed to never know a person's touch, lest she drains their power. She can be used as a storage closet for mutant powers which can be a bonus to her,but she will never know what it is like to hold someone without draining them or killing them.

As for the villains,I am going to choose an oddball. Toad. Now,he is usually portrayed as a very loyal, but very dimwitted person. Plus, you have to admit that as far as a mutant power goes,he kind of got the short end of the stick. He can only hop around, has a very long tongue, and can spit mucus. All you would need is a gun to take him out. But Toad tries for those that befriend him, even if he gets shafted a lot. You have to love a guy that is kind of a mutant loser but he still wants to try.

I'm more of a DC guy so my knowledge of Marvel is pretty slim (despite having a hefty collection of Hulk comics :I), but I'd probably have to go with Beast (X-Men Evolution version). I've always been a fan of the intelligent, kind, fatherly kind of character over the more "hands on" ad violent/jerk with a heart of gold type of character like Wolverine. I can totally see why people would like Wolverine as a character, but he doesn't "do it" for me as he does for others.

I have to go with the actual leader of the X-Men, Professor Charles Xavior. I mean, he is one of the most powerful psychics, plus he runs an entire school for mutants. What more can I say about him?

As for the bad guys, it's a tough call between Magneto and Mystique.

Hm... I think all of the X-Men are awesome in their own ways, so it's kind of hard to pick a favorite, but I did like Storm and Professor Charles Xavier (Professor X). I liked Storm because when I first encountered one of the X-Men arcade games, she was one of the few female characters that could be chosen so I often chose to play as her and eventually started learning more about the stories for the X-Men because of the games. After I watched some of the X-Men cartoons, I also started to like Cyclops (those eyes) and Jean (those awesome telekinetic powers), so I eventually started trying to choose them too in the arcades, but I think my favorite one for the arcades is still Storm. Later, when I got older, I started to like Professor Charles Xavier (Professor X) as well because he took care of many of the X-Men and tries to promote goodness in the world, along with peaceful coexistence and equality.

I'll leave Wolverine out of this one because it's too easy of an answer.

I'd probably have to go with Cable or Professor X. Cable is the future son of Scott Summers and Jean Greys clone named Madelyne. He has some telekinetic powers but they aren't that strong so he relies more on his fighting skills. Although he does train his powers later on and they become much more valuable. I just love his story and character.

I like Xavier because he's Xavier. He's one of the most powerful mutants and a great guy but not without his faults *cough* Marvel Illuminati *cough*.

More recently I've grown to like Magneto since he's been on a redemption arc like when he saved Utopia. He's never had evil intentions but he was an extremist and he's seen the error in that. I also really like Bishop.
