Technically I have yet to fully complete Doom the whole way through. I have played Brutal Doom and that seems to be the go to favorite. I did play the GBA version (it was the only one I had access to for a long time) but Brutal Doom was and still is my favorite. Although Doom 2016 is like official Brutal Doom so I guess I like that

I actually really enjoy Deliverance 2600, it is a Metroidvania style game that is in the perspective in Doom, it's really cool to see stuff in it. I wish there were more mods like it, though I haven't really looked.

I've played quite a few of them, but my 2 favorites are Action Doom II and of course the ever so popular Brutal Doom. Action Doom II has melee weapons and all of that cool stuff, and it's a full conversation. Not only that it uses cel shaded style graphics. Not your typical Doom or Doom II style. Very colorful, and of course Brutal Doom is just very brutal lol.

Planishpere 2, it's a mod that takes place with you fighting monsters in New York City. It's a large mod that took years to make, as it's a nearly 1:1 replica of it. I mean, you can even go in buildings too.
