I have no words. This is almost as bad (if not equally as bad) as the 360's launch with how often the launch ones got the Red Ring

Juliaisme123 : Simple, you never buy consoles at day one. I would wait at least 1-2 weeks before an update is released that will fix most, if not all these problems. I still have an Xbox 360 in fact, not day one, but kinda close I think. 

I still want to get this, but I mean I kinda hate Nintendo after the incident here on Vizzed and also I don't  really have the money for it. I would have to sell the Wii U first. 

So calm down, sit back, have a sip of like tea or something and wait until it's fixed. It's that simple.

The video is fake, people in reddit have mislead the video and many fake accounts were made. Anyway the video is just a series of clips that owners of the switch broke parts of the switch in their own, not Nintendo.

Strange, I finally got my Switch in the mail yesterday, and I haven't had any issues with it.  Been playing Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild and enjoying every second of it. It's pretty crazy to see all these people having issues with their console though.

It's important to point out though that this guy also had made a video about defective PS4 Pros, so if you have one that didn't have issues, then odds are that if you buy a Switch, the Switch issues won't be a problem for you.

I've yet to hear any issues with the Switch launch. Actually, I've yet to hear anything negative about it other than people whom didn't pre-order can't get one currently because of the demand on them.

I have mine that I got day 1 and love it. Haven't seen any issues with the hardware or software. Solid construction and design. Couldn't be happier with the console actually.
