I should be getting enough money from next semesters school refund check to get the Switch. However, since that won't be until maybe the middle of October or the start of November, I'll probably just hold off until Black Friday to see if there are any good deals for one or for a bundle.

I'm not entirely sure what I'll be paying for it.Just depends on what kind of bundles I see around Christmas time. I'm seeing enough games come out for it to satisfy me for the time being at least, even if I'm still strongly against the idea of paying for online. It means Smash just became a much less viable game for me, and what little interest I had in Splatoon and Arms has all but vanished.

Although I wasn't really on board with buying a Switch initially, I feel more inclined to get one after finding out that future core pokemon games (after Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon) will be continuing on the Switch. Since that will be quite some time away, I'm hoping that the Switch's library of games will be bigger, and the system's price will be cheaper, possibly in the $200-$250 range. I'm waiting for the right opportunity because $300 dollars is an awful lot of money to shell out at a console that I still consider to be somewhat underwhelming. While there are some very good games out for the system right now, I'm still going to wait for when the right deal/bundle presents itself.

My Nintendo Switch has been one of the best purchases I've made in the past year or so. Breath of the Wild alone made it worth it, since that is one of the greatest games I've played in what feels like a decade, and then you add in Super Mario Odyssey coming out later next week? Yeah, I'm definitely hyped.

Once we get a core Pokemon game, Animal Crossing, and a few RPGs, I'm not sure I'll ever actually stop playing, especially once more core games that I'm not mentioning as top priorities (Kirby, Yoshi, etc) come out.
