I prefer the 2D and early 3D sonic games more than the new ones. Sonic 3 and Knuckles was awesome and i think that was the first game where getting chaos emeralds was very important. I don't like the fact that you can't go super in regular stages anymore and that you can only go super on the last boss in the newer games.

I like the old ones, they were the best*sniff*, especially "sonic heros", I and my cousins played it everytime, until it never worked again, all of us got angry, we tried playing "sonic riders", but we all got bored of it within 3 weeks, we tried "sonic unleashed", but it wasn't fun for us, we all wished the store had "sonic heros", but they removed it*sniff*.

The classic Sonic games are basically the foundations of what we call video gaming today, and I don't think that anybody can change that fact. I find that the new Sonic games aren't quite living up to their reputation, as it seems to be that the games are starting to become bad. As lots of people have mentioned, the games aren't quite as good as the old ones, so I'll come to the conclusion; Old Sonic games are better than the new ones.
