Yes, I've done it again. I'm wasting a lot of months' worth of time to get a book written out. BUT THIS TIME. I am determined to get it published. I'm probably going to type out a huge chunk of words, so I apologize for that. (Yes, this book is what has been causing me to sort of "flicker" between being on Vizzed and forgetting you all exist. Sorry.)
What is this book called?
For now, I'm calling it Fragments of Memories. I was originally going to call it Diary of a Newbie, but it sounded more like the title for an anime, and I'm trying to make it serious here.
Why are you writing this?
Originally, it was going to be a fanfiction for my childhood game (LaTale) but after I gave one of my friends a couple of sentences about all the headcanons and stuff about the plot (which is basically the first four bosses in the game are human in an alternate universe and one of the end-game bosses is the evil queen who must be defeated) he told me "this could make a decent book. I'd read it." So, here we are, seven chapters in at the moment as I attempt to write out the defeat of the first boss, who is now called Akuma Invoke.

OKAY, so I gave you a very brief sentence about it, so here comes a paragraph that has more detail about the plot.
Two girls in a fantasy world much like a video game (one of which is new to the world) are suddenly thrown in an alternate dimension and must get back home. It seems easy enough at first, as everything looked the same, but soon, they notice that everyone walking past them seemed either afraid or dead inside. They soon find out why they are: The Fearful Four. They're the first four bosses in the original world, however, they've been turned human:
Akuma Invoke, the beautiful half demon girl who can steal souls. Was originally the baby dragon Invoke.
Hyunmu, the emo, voodoo-loving man whose soul can temporarily leave his body and possess others. Was originally the giant turtle Hyunmu. (I'm thinking about changing his name for the final product.) He would have been the richest person in this alternate dimension if not for...
Sphinx, the richest person in the world. I have an idea for her where people actually come to her if they are in desperate need for money, and she does pay them, but she expects to be paid back (and only gives people a week to pay back) and every day after the deadline, she doubles the price she needs to be paid back. Some have paid back the debt, but others...well, let's just say they're not around anymore to tell the tale. Was originally an actual sphinx.
Vintor, the second-in-command of the Fearful Four. Was originally an ice demon, but with the power of three magicians, they had weakened him to the point where he can only come out once every 100 years. The rest of the time has to be spent in a human's body. She was just unlucky enough to possess a girl's body. His original form in the regular dimension is the ice demon.
There is A LOT more about this book that I want to talk about, but I've already checked the word count and, as of right now, it's 550 words and rising, so I'll just leave it here for now. Feel free to ask me about it! I'd be glad to tell you all!

...I don't know, actually. I just want to get it out before I lose steam (like I did the last time I attempted to write a book...) so that I actually have a reason to finish and publish it.
