So, I was laying in bed last night trying to fall asleep, and I was thinking about some of the strange dreams I've had.

Have you had any strange / noteworthy dreams as of late, or just ones worth mentioning in general?

Like once there was one of me being chased by dinosaurs in a Jurassic Park kind of island, and another one I was smoking weed with friends but also had the powers of Spiderman, climbing around on walls and stuff lol.

So, how do you feel about dreams or the ones you've had before?

I had one last night that I won't go into that was really...disturbing and weird. Just mentioning it because the timing of this thread is uncanny. lol

One I will mention — and this was also last night — I was in some sort of meeting with a speaker and I was sitting between two people people from animé that I like. That is, I like the animé, not the people. No odd waifu stuff, I promise. That would have been different characters. Imeanwut?

And I have no idea what the dream was actually about. It was just...weird.

Mynamescox44 : I had a dream once where I could fly and have dreamed a couple of times about one of my grandmothers even though she passed away 17 years ago but when it comes to dreams I find that sometimes if you think about someone you know quit often it,s possible that you might end up dreaming about them other times dreams could be made up of different pieces of things we might have on our minds at the time we are sleeping a friend of mine once told me after she watched a horror movie and went to bed she started to dream about being inside a coffin and it started lifting up then it opened and she ended up sitting up inside of it

I've had many weird dreams. One I hate are the ones that you are falling in the dream but, you still feel it in real life and right when you're about to hit the ground, BAM you wake up startled... I hate hate those. (I don't like heights).

Lately, I've been dreaming that I am sent to prison with some of my family members and I am going to be there for life. Can't escape can't do anything just feel agony and sadness.

Another one involved zombies and being chased by them then, it switches to childhood memories then, fast forward to chaos and confusion. It's like I have too much in my mind that when I go to bed my subconscious plays all of these emotions, fears, memories, and keeps my mind replying them while I sleep.

Haven't had a good dream in a while- surely miss those lol.

I fell asleep on the couch last night during a windy thunderstorm and I ended up dreaming that I was on a boat, floating in a body of water, with nothing around me. Everything was dead silent, there wasn't even the sound of water slapping at the boat's hull. It was the opposite of the storm, dead silent.

The sun was out, the clouds were floating by, and I saw what I thought was a bird high in the sky. It dove on me, barely missed the boat, and went into the water. I never saw it again.

Then a whirlpool opening up under the boat. It was like going down a giant toilet and the boat was getting sucked under the water. I was holding on, being spun around and then I woke up and it was 5:00am.

Weird dream. It is still vivid.

I've had nearly all kinds of dreams, good, bad and worse. From one I clearly remember of being together with my then-crush as the whole class congratulated the new couple to a recurring dream where I was "imprisoned" in an elevator that constantly went up and down stopping where there was no door to exit.

Those two were long ago, but I still have very strange dreams. A recurring one I have seldomly is a very real dream, where I can even "think" and "control myself". It's like being in Matrix, I can alter everything in the world and even myself to travel space-time or other sci-fi things. The comparison with Matrix comes in handy when the dream consist of trying to run away from some "evil", though I don't wear fully black clothes nor sunglasses lol

Another recurring one which also makes it hard to differ between reality and fantasy is the classical one where I wake up and the clock marks a weird hour, and when I really wake up I feel kind of disoriented. Sometimes the dream seems to repeat itself in a cycle, where I keep waking up to check the clock to see an impossible hour (like meaning I had slept for 22 hours or so) until I really wake up unable to say if it's still a dream.

Looks like my brain loves to have fun with my subconscious to bring me weird dreams one after another. Not like they are nightmares or anything, been a long while since I actually had one, but they're not always enjoyable and don't let me sleep well.

Almost every single night I have a weird dream, but the weirdest dreams I've had were of me hanging out with Donald Trump in an RV, me talking to some homeless anime guy who lived in a mall with a huge anime collection, exploring a campground with AVGN, doing parkour at a hipster trailer park, and standing outside of a huge dollhouse in a casino where a country star from Israel was living in with his wife.

I don't know if it's exactly noteworthy, but it was interesting to me personally, so I'll recount it here.

I'm a musician, and above all, a drummer (the days of my wishing to be called a percussionist are long gone. lol) And as such I've obviously done my fair share of practicing over the past fourteen years. That said, I've always had a certain love of sixteenth notes (where the drummer hits the hi-hat sixteen times in a four beat measure, or, four times for each beat in the rhythm). I mean they just sound so awesome, and they add this really cool sounding tapping tap faux tempo boost to a song and make it come alive. Sadly I've never really had many chances to play sixteenth notes, as I'm primarily a church musician, and let's face it, hymns don't readily lend themselves to such a sound unless the vocalist and other musicians also overhaul them.

So today I had a dream about music. I have no idea where I was, but I immediately noted that the drummer was playing sixteenth notes. It sounded so awesome, and I had to point it out to my dad who was also there, even though he doesn't understand a word of this sort of thing. lol
That's all there was to it, but it was really cool to me.
